Since this kind of came up in another thread, how about we consider a board moratorium on any facility discussion during the season? We should now be focusing on the team. The only exception should be if the school releases a press release on the subject i.e. no rumors or "I heards". Being one of the main posters/complainers about this subject, thought this might be worth proposing.

This is me as a poster, not a board moderator, but I like it. I don't know that a moratorium is realistic, but hopefully at least seriously curtailing it.
Speedy Morris and his legacy should also be attached to this bill as a rider.

It's not that it's a bad topic, it's that April-October are petty much dominated by nothing but arena talk, so while there's honest to God basketball to be played, we might as well talk about that, as opposed to year-round arena talk.

What about a sticky facility thread? If anyone want to gripe about the facilities, we'll point them there. Although it might encourage the discussion at this point.

I'd prefer not to sticky it honestly, for the reason I mentioned above. I don't mind talking about it, it's a big issue. It'd just be nice if we all agreed to limit it while games are being played.
