Thanks to coachd for his useless post...it did not address the original poster's question and served no purpose other than make it seem like you're making a contribution.
It would be great to see/expect a commit but I don't believe anybody else will be until later. 88 might be able to shed some light...

I have no idea if we sign anyone else. It doesn't appear likely. I am hoping G pulls a rabbit out of a hat.

But really bad news that no one else is signing. I've been concerned the past couple months that we were not getting any verbal commitments. For a program like ours, if we don't land guys in the fall - it is very difficult to land a solid recruit in the spring who can step in and help the following season. Just a shame it doesn't look like anything is there now in the fall. That's why verbal commitments are so important in August, September, October - and when we didn't get anyone to verbal, besides Amar, during that time you just had to know it was an ominous sign. We better hope that this team makes the NCAA tournament THIS year - maybe, just maybe if that happens we might be able to get a high level 2014 player or two who wants to sign in the fall of 2013 and get some good playing time in 2014/15. |
