milos' numbers are deceiving. he had a strong second half of the 2022-23 season as he got more minutes. multiple double figure points and rebounds games. he did not take one three pointer the entire season. www.njcaa.org/sports/mbkb/2022-23/div1/players/miloskovacevicttcb?view=gamelog&pos=shhere's some video of him from high school on the below tweet. another lefty big man who stays on the low block. solid backup for rokas.

We will have 6 new players seeing action next year. That is counting Ramos who is listed as a sophomore but really did not play last year.
Will be interesting to see how Dunphy works combinations in both the frontcourt and backcourt. A lot of size diversity in each.

Will be interesting to see how Dunphy works combinations in both the frontcourt and backcourt. A lot of size diversity in each. good news is we return 6 rotation players who contributed 61% of our scoring, 57% of our rebounding, and 79% of our assists. lucas, ryan and jorge practiced with the team all season so they already know how things work. the main challenge will be getting the three new guys up to speed. all of them look to be pretty talented.

highlights from milos' 2022-23 season at highland jc. I like what I see. Davidson has been feasting on guys like this. Now that we have a coach who knows how to develop players he will help us. His footwork is good and he doesn't look slow. Decisive with the ball.

I know highlight reels are deceiving but he actually looks quicker and stronger than Rocus

Decisive with the ball. It's going to setup an interesting team dynamic though. I get it that when you don't have NIL money, you have to go international because those guys can't get paid on a student visa until they are graduate students, but it sets up an environment where now we have 7 international scholarship players getting $0 from NIL, while the others can be cashing checks. Human nature is bound to create some resentment over this.

I am not a hug fan of all the international players but we have to do whatever is necessary and within the rules to level the playing field. Hopefully we can figure a better way to do this. Also, managing the cultural differences is a challenge I would think. La Salle is in a different world today. That is for sure.

Human nature is bound to create some resentment over this. I may tell you something shocking but the NIL deals are not deals of equality. If anything the chance of having resentment issues is far less than other programs because that’s simply the rules with NIL when it comes to international players. The real resentment issues will lie at other programs who had endless means and handed out NIL deals like hot cakes. There will be situations where an underperforming player is making astronomically more than the best players on the team as they just played their hand well.

There will be situations where an underperforming player is making astronomically more than the best players on the team as they just played their hand well. Obviously the deals are not deals of equity. No deals are like that. But when you have an entire class of people - i.e. international students - restricted from cashing in on those deals, it becomes an extra thing to manage for a coaching staff, taking focus away from teaching the game. To see a prime example of this in pro sports (which is what college is becoming), read "The Beckham Experiment" by Grant Wahl.
