Congratulations to Bill Bradshaw on his introduction to Temple athletics hall of fame. Wish he had the same success at Lasalle University instead of stealing money for doing nothing for the athletic department.

Is this an assessment of both his times at La Salle or just his second stop? I am not his defender but would like to hear your reasoning.

Sorry for the late response gloryday but the answer to your question on Bill Bradshaw is that he did a great jobs at Temple, DePaul, at Lasalle on his first tour of duty. On Bill second tour of duty at Lasalle he let the men and women basketball program, women softball and the baseball program irrelevant. There was no effort in Bill to build an winnings program at Lasalle. In my opinion losing what a daily norm at Lasalle while Bill Bradshaw was the AD on his second tour of duty. Also there was no effort in building or renovate the Tom Gola arena. When Bill retire from Lasalle; the athletic department is in a worst position now before he started his second tour of duty. I hope I answer your question gloryday.

I hope I answer your question gloryday. Bill had 2 great hires for volleyball. A great hire for WBB. A tremendous hire for baseball. A good men’s soccer hire. Overall, he left it in much better hands than it was in. Ash is probably actually the least successful of all his hires. So not too bad.

dog &15, thank you for your comments. I am a contemporary of Bradshaw & was happy to see him return to clean up after the last couple years of Brennan. I have wavered on Coach Howard. I would have hired him 3 years back as he was a hot commodity and had been here as an assistant. Hope this is the breakout year…(just don’t lose at Delaware….)
