World Champion Fred VanVleet was a freshman backup point guard for the Wichita State team that ended our Sweet 16 run. Completely strange to see him draining threes in Draymond Green's face and remembering the Shockers taking us out pretty quickly that night.
I have no idea how he was not drafted. He was half of a backcourt that won 30 games three years in a row, made one Final Four, had an undefeated regular season and got a one seed and a bunch of more stuff. Dude was money his whole career.
I'm also super happy for Kyle Lowry. He's a true Philly guy and player. One of my favorites in the NBA.

It took a torn achilles, torn ACL and broken collarbone from the opponents starting five. Yawn.

It took a torn achilles, torn ACL and broken collarbone from the opponents starting five. Yawn. Maybe. Not quite 1985 KC Royals' stealing the WS because of Don Denklinger's blown call at first base...or like the 1972 Olympic Basketball final with those commie officials costing the USA a victory. I am happy for Lowry. Hell, I am happy for Martelli. I am just one happy guy.

Speaking of which - the question I woke up with this morning is.. can the Warriors make the 2020 playoffs in the West while missing Klay and KD for most or all of the 2019-2020 regular season? Take one away, sure. Take two away, ??
