We are in a great position right now with recruiting. G doesn't need to reach for players right now. Whether it is a transfer or high school recruit he can wait for the guy he wants. When it comes to recruiting stuff and I see a positive message like this from explorer88 it makes me very happy

I just told my son we are going to be real good next year. I said we have a chance to be like the Sweet 16 team. He said HOW? I said transfers!!! We would like to get these kids straight out of HS but I would rather have a top 100 player for 2 or 3 years then a MAAC player for 4.

Jair Bolden, a PG from Westown School with an offer from La Salle, committed to GW. With Pookie in the bank PG was not a need for this recruiting class. It seems that G wants to sign a big he can develop and possibly hold the remaining scholarship for a transfer. It does not appear that any class of '16 recruit is going to come in and get much PT.

I wish him the best of luck however...
James Love gets one offer from the a P5 program that has had a million players transfer or leave. Makes his decision quickly after he started receiving interest. I don't see Bruce Weber holding his job if this is a bad season ahead.
It is actually kind of funny. We lost out on two commits to K State. Neither of which I am too bummed out on losing.
We lost out on Isaiah Maurice too and for whatever reasons he hasn't been cleared by the NCAA. Probably isn't staying at K State.

The coaching staff liked James a lot, but the offer was dependent on him agreeing to redshirt. With Demetrius becoming eligible next season, there was no playing time to offer him and they didn't want to waste a year of his eligibility. Kansas State apparently plans to play him as a true freshman, plus with the conference and facilities advantages K-State has, La Salle was fighting an uphill battle on this one. G will keep plugging until he finds someone willing to redshirt or he'll just hold the scholarship for a 2017 big man.

Like someone said earlier in this post.... See you in a few years via transfer...he needs a redshirt year to bulk up. I guess he will get it during his transfer year.
