They're playing well. Hopefully they maintain this lead the rest of the game.

7:52 to go.
58-46 Explorers.
By the final Media TO, we'll either by comfortably ahead, or locked in a down to the wire game. Next few possessions will by key.

Only following stats, but 18 fouls in the second half and still 5 minutes to go. Can the refs be a little consistent with their whistle blowing!?!?!

30 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds for Price. That's one of the best stat for an Explorer on some time.

Hawks just hit a 3 to tie it up with only a few seconds left. Huge shot.

Price shooting very nice! But he also sees the floor and can thread the needle with the pass. Maybe we have a real gem here! And he rebounds!
Nice game Jerrell! 19 points but you were oh so close (a little better finishes) from 25!
Best game I watched from us this year.

Each game this team is finding different ways to win and improving. The defense wasn't great tonight and the turnovers were a surprise but holding teams under 36% is good. Great to see Wright and Zack have a good game. Price was unbelievable tonight.

Much better tonight but still a lot to work on. Good to be 4-0 heading into the Virginia game and coming off our best performance.

Nice 4 game stretch to get the season started. Not pretty, and we struggled a bit, but we pulled out 4 victories. No bad losses. I'm just looking to hang with Virginia, and notch up the intensity a bit. I tend to think we played down to the level of our opponents the first 3 games, and were kinda feeling our way. Tonight was 2012/2013 re dux. Lets take at least 1 W home with us from B'kln.

Stukes is better suited to run this team. He is a true point guard. Khalid should be coming off the bench to provide a spark in our offense, as he does have the ability to get by his defender and drive to hole. My issue is him over using his cross over to do that. Against better competition that will be a turnover almost every time.

I am not getting into this. This guard conversation has already been beaten to death and someone always is going to complain. I like both of them for different reasons. Khalid looks like a better player this season and Stukes has met my expectations. That is all I can ask for and all anyone should ask for.

Jordan Price sees the floor incredibly well. He made some passes tonight that were incredible... He probably was robbed of 2 or 3 assists by guys not finishing too.
Well-rounded effort tonight, got a little lax on defense early in the 2nd half and let their fg% drift above 40% for a fee minutes but bounced back nicely.
Lewis is a strong on-ball defender and I think that's why he's getting the minutes right now.
The big 3 of Wright, Zack and Price finay played a cohesive game together and we see the potential. If they can execute like this consistently, things will open up for everyone.
Movement without the ball when it was in the post was improved tonight and needs to continue to improve.

Cool note on Price La Salle Athletics ? goexplorers From our friends at @espnstatsinfo. J. Price is just the 3rd #LaSalleMBB player since 96-97 w/ 30, 5, & 5 in a single game.

Great job by the team getting off to a 4-0 start. First 3 games were ugly, but it appears tonight they put some things together. Jordan Price is talented.
Obviously Virginia is going to be really tough on Friday night, but let's see how our guys do. Great to have an opportunity to play a top 10 team.

Rodney (twice) and Steve smith in the CCSU marathon being the other 2 It had to be Donnie Carr in 96-97. Donnie never did it, surprisingly. Woods pretty much averaged 30-5-5 as a senior in 92.

We are 4-0 against teams with a combined record of 5-13 which is horrible. Happy for team which won games it was supposed too but now they have to play real Div 1 teams in Virginia and Nova and it could get ugly. Hope to stay within 12-15 of Virginia, beat Rutgers/Vandy (most likely Rutgers) and maybe give Nova a tough game at home which would leave us at 5-2 or wishful thinking 6-1. Believe team has very good chance of going 9-4 or maybe 10-3 out of conference. If team ends up 10-3 OOC it must go 11-7 to have e reasonable chance at the end of season for Big Dance.

Agree with this. I have a hard time seeing us being competitive against Virginia and Nova. Nova we may give them some trouble because it is home game and a Big 5 game and I think we will be sky high for that game but I worry about getting mauled by a defensive team like Virginia. Unlike the first 4 opponents Virginia will show us size and athleticism on the wings and we are going to have trouble running the 1 on 1 offense we tend to show and revert to often in games. Given that Jerrell and Zack are having trouble finishing around the basket we are going to struggle to score 50 points you would think in this game. The positive thing I see is this team should be much better in January and February than it is now. I our guards are going to get much better and you have to think Jerrell and Steve will find a more efficient game down the line than they are showing now. I will take being competitive on Friday at this point. I think we should beat Rutgers if we play them as I think Vandy will take care of them in the first game.

Rodney (twice) and Steve smith in the CCSU marathon being the other 2 Ramon had 31 against VCU. But he only had 2 rebounds and 1 assist in that game, so he didn't have the 30-5-5 line.
