I have seen nothing that leads me to believe Shuler doesn't deserve more playing time other than the lack day game coaching by G. The three fouls in two minutes of game play due to being too aggressive on defense and not knowing defensive positioning begs to differ.

Wright up to 12 rebounds in only 14 mins
Explorers up 44-32 with 9:27 to go

G has the players he wants to play and Shuler is not one of them. If I were Shuler I would look elsewhere because Lewis & Stukes are his guys this season and next no matter what Johnnie does period you can already see it.

Is there a team in the whole country playing uglier basketball right now?

And that's why I'm not panicking. We're not going to shoot below 35% from the field (what we're averaging through 2.5 games) all year. The worst shooting D-1 team last year was New Hampshire at 36.9%. The numbers will regress to the mean and will end up fine. Except we all figured that'd happen last season, and it never did. I do have to agree with this. We were halfway through December talking about 11 abnormally bad shooting games in a row like it was 11 separate flukes last year. Obviously 3 games is too early, but at some point 6 or 7 bad shooting games in a row means you're bad at shooting.

I love this board but my god this is the 3rd game of his freshman year and this is now the 2nd time someone has said he should transfer. All it takes is one injury and he's "the guy".

With just under 8 mins to go and only a 11 point lead the foul situation isn't a non-issue:
Wright/Shuler - 4 fouls Peterson/Price/Lewis - 3 fouls

And doesn't pick up fouls in the same manner?

Relax Sitexplorer it was a joke based on someone suggesting yesterday or the day before Shuler should leave the program. Shuler will learn and will get his playing time but that aside we have seen how G makes up his mind and is very stubborn even when it is clear it isn't working. Presently this team is poor and if they don't start shooting better this board will explode over the next two weeks.

Like I have been saying.. Both Roberts and Price look fine to me in form and consistency of release points which any shooter will tell you in the most important variable in determining a good shooter.. This isn't a Garland situation

We had 5 steals by the first media timeout of this game and have only had 1 since. Even the positives are drying up

3:43 to go. 51-40 'splorers. Price shooting 2 after the break.
Love St. Peter's uniforms by the way. Ours too, except the stripes on the shorts but not on the jersey throws me off, but still they look great.

This isn't a Garland situation Based on what I've seen, this looks like the case. Hope it plays out this way, because the whole offense depends on it. I'll acknowledge that the idea I suggested in the first game of dumping the ball into the post isn't working, but if shots from the outside start to fall, the bigs will get more spacing, and I have to assume, also finish better. Changes the whole thing if Price and Roberts start hitting threes.

Is La Salle winning 51-40 or 50-40? The live stat tracker says 50-40 as does ESPN. Kale keeps saying we're up by 51-40.

Through 3 games, our offense has been atrocious. Kale talking about us not being able to shake St. Peter's. I call BS. We played well defensively, our offense just absolutely sucked eggs.

FINAL. La Salle 59- St. Peter's 50.
We can definitely nitpick, and have legit concerns about the shooting, and now Injuries are a concern, but they're 3-0, which is where we said they needed to be. Get one Tuesday night, and then enter a 4 Game stretch which will be very challenging, but should also be very fun for fans (and I'll be at 3 of them, which makes me happy).
Also, postgame reminder: Excessive fonts are not to be used. Please use the standard board font. Your post is no more important than anyone else's.

With games like this, I absolutely hate to hear the fight song after the game. The team should thank their lucky stars and get off the floor.
