Great story. This would be a great article to send recruits. It's what sets LaSalle apart. It's why you chose to come here. I hope these guys blend early and we get off to a fast start. I believe we can be a bubble team this year. Those early wins could be the difference.

I'll never forget that first time on campus and it just felt like home.

It is the article. The "family atmosphere" that they do not have at Auburn and many other schools. The staff going the extra mile.

Lets just hope the shitheads at the NCAA don't read the article and deem there was impermissible sharing of Netflix or something.

Lets just hope the shitheads at the NCAA don't read the article and deem there was impermissible sharing of Netflix or something. I wouldn't be surprised since this is an example given in the compliance book: "the coach brought the donuts and juice to 6 a.m. weightlifting sessions." Don't give them ideas.

Btw, the article is in today's Philadelphia Daily News.
Also, is there any money gained from winning some games in the post-season NIT? Certainly, if the A-10 sends 4-5 teams to the NCAA (not impossible) La Salle could get in, IF there are a few significant for the committee wins (probably in the A-10, but perhaps Villanova or (for name rec.) Temple. And how is UofVirginia rated this year?
It would be very helpful for longterm progress of La Salle Basketball to get in to the tournament and win a game, since this would insure a revenue stream for some time, given the 2013 post season success (small potatoes $$$ to the Louisvilles or Dukes but not LU) and might concentrate the minds of La Salle decisionmakers on a new stadium.

Nice article. Interesting to think about how many guys last year were "on the team" but not eligible to play. Seems like they all made the best of the situation. Nice to hear they have a bond.
