Last year, if you went to any or all of the four NCAA tournament games, the will call process was easy and very fan friendly. The number of tickets available may have been limited, but to my knowledge each and every reasonable fan request was handled in a reasonable amount of time. From what I heard, La Salle ran out of its original allotments, but assisted fans in obtaining tickets in another section. When I arrived in Kansas and Los Angeles, an official will call representative from La Salle greeted me by name and presented me my prepaid ticket. Being a supporter of the Explorer Fund may have helped as it should, but I was never pressured to donate anything extra just for consideration.
I look at what some of the other schools are doing and realize how fortunate we were to have flexibility and convenience last year. Dayton fans have to enter a lottery to get to go to Memphis, with priority given to donors and longest running season ticket holders. They have to spend a minimum of $200 for an all sessions pass, $250 if they want a good seat. With La Salle, they let us buy one ticket at a time, as we advanced. I liked not having to be on the hook for two rounds whether we were able to use them or not.

Meh... They have been getting better, but look at what happened with the Palestra game. Temple mailed their tickets late December. La Salle said repeatedly they were going to mail them, and then at the last minute made everyone do Will Call.

They probably have much bigger demand than we did.

Dayton's fanbase outnumbers ours by a lot and has always traveled extremely well. They probably have much bigger demand than we did. NPOA www.springfieldnewssun.com/news/sports/college/ud-mens-basketball-season-tickets-selling-at-nea-1/nMwzm/After snapping up 10,588 season tickets in 2010-11 — which was about 1,000 more than the previous high in 41 years at UD Arena — Flyer followers bought 10,484 this season. Fewer than 20 of the 5,800 season tickets in the lower arena were not renewed, and the vacant ones were filled by upper-arena inhabitants wanting to move down.

Guys, the city supports the team. But you are in Dayton. It is the only game in town. I have been there. Nice arena and good fan support.
