May sound stupid, but any chance he wants to stay in Philly and go to grad school here? We could use a rent-a-center for a year.

Great minds think a like, son. I was just about to post that and saw you beat me to the punch. I would love to see La Salle sign him for a year. Good player.

I don't see it happening given that he is eligible right away. I would think some big schools would jump at the opportunity for the 1 year rental...

There's speculation on the Temple messageboard over on Scout that one of the two Iowa's (U. or St.) will pick him up because his family moved out there a few years back. Rutgers is also being mentioned. Some of the TU fans are savaging him over there.

I hope for his sake he doesn't go to Rutgers. Would be a colossal waste of a year.

Would be a great pickup but I am not sure if he would like to come… 1 year big man rentals (especially ones with experience) are highly sought after…
A school like St Joes could offer the minutes and, even with their losses, offer a fairly competitive team right off the bat…

Explorerman I assume you are joking with your statement that St Joe's will be a fairly competitive team next season. The graduation of their seniors is devastating to say the least with for the most part nobody to replace them. You think we had a tough year going 15-16 just give it 12 months and see the difference. If they can manage 10 wins it will be a very good year but it will be very difficult. I will root for St. Joe's in the tourney because their next two seasons minimum will be piss poor.

I know it's a long ways away and too many things can happen, most of which are unknown and unable to be known, but is it reasonable for La Salle fans to think that we've replaced our graduating class with Price, Roberts, Stukes and Schuler? + Washington? I heard good things about those guys sitting out from more than one source but before we start saying another team will struggle, can we be much better? Obviously expectations will be lower than they've been in the last 3 years for our guys and teams sometimes play better that way and worse when there are tons of expectations (ahem, 2013/14 Explos) Thanks

Let's not overlook the fact that he's going to grad school. Grad school in what? This is a helpful hint when figuring out where he's going. So far, the only scoop we have here is that he is likely not staying local at all. I'll add West Virginia to the list of likely destinations, since they are proven as desperate to take a chance on players for one year. A player can make an immediate impact there.
I've always like Lee's game, since he torched us at Liacouras a few years ago. No, I don't think he's coming to La Salle. That's not to say that he wouldn't excel here, or that G isn't good at getting transfers, as he's had about five in the last three years. But it is to say that Lee and La Salle are not the perfect fit. A year ago, when our stock was so much higher, maybe.

Key point in this rule is that he must transfer to a grad school which offers a major/course/degree that Temple does not have.
