I would imagine he was up all night determining the impact of the Arizona loss and all of the other seeding decisions he has to make.
I would agree with coach k that NC state gets in before the a10 would get 6 in. I think umass could be in some trouble, we shall see. None the less it will be an exciting day for college bball fans, last year for some reason was more fun for us.

UMass has a really strong RPI, I don't see them in any trouble at all. RPI around 20, wins over New Mexico, VCU and a bunch of teams that are either in or right on the bubble (Providence, GW, St. Joe's, Nebraska), they're a lock. Don't think they're as good as they looked early in the season, but definitely a tournament team. 9 seed? If anyone gets bounced at this point, it'll be Dayton.

So to compare Dayton, St. Joe's and NCState
UD: 23-10, RPI 43, 4-6 against Top 50, 6-1 against 51-100, SOS rank 64, 7-4 on the road NCSU: 21-13. RPI 55, 3-9 against Top 50, 3-2 next 50, SOS 32, 6-6 on the road. SJU: 23-9, RPI 37, 5-5 against Top 50, 4-3 against next 50, SOS 63, 8-4 on the road
If you take away name, and by implication, conference affiliation, the Hawks and Flyers clearly have better resumes.
