Thanks so much for a great run! Our program has reached new highs thanks to your hard works and efforts.
Tyreek, thanks for believing in La Salle when few did! You helped us turn the corner when there were many doubters. Thanks so much for your flawless play and great demeanor. You are a difference maker many times personified!
Sam, you are a great team player. You always could be counted on for great D. This year, you hit an O slump, but you did not regress when faced with that adversity. Instead, you broke thorough 1,000 points, helped in late season wins and showed up big time with 3s in the A10 tourney. Thank you!
Tyrone, you helped us break through to the Sweet 16 with the SW Philly floater. Often overlooked were your passing skills besides being able to create your own shot. Thanks, man!
Taylor, you have a heart of a lion. Please continue with that and you will be successful in your future pursuits. We could not buy a shot against St Joe and you rained 3s! You were the most passionate player on and off the bench the last 3 years. For that we are grateful.
Steve - you have improved more than any player in the 40+ years I have followed the Explorers. Keep it going brother, we have some goals to fulfill next year.
Jerrell, what can I say, man. From day 1 you have been my favorite player since Lionel, and that is saying an awful lot. You were a beast in the season ending game today and were a beast in the S16 run. I encourage you to work hard between now and next season to unleash the further beast within you! May the force be with you next year, my man!
Looking forward to the '13-'14 Explorers!!!

Not to be ungrateful, but can't we at least vent a little over the poor season that started with such high hopes by many before we start singing the praises of the graduating seniors.
If this is in poor taste, I apologize in advance.

Yes it is in poor taste. There has been more than enought venting on other posts. This thread is not the place. Learn to be gratful for what you got last year and the year before.

If this is in poor taste, I apologize in advance. MANY other threads where people have vented. Here's a tip: If you feel the need to apologize in advance for saying something, maybe it is better left unsaid (or un-posted).

So I should start a dedicated thread that is "the right place"? I was not venting. I was just asking why - basically before the final whistle - this thread was started. That's all. p.s. nice spelling and grammar.

It was started, basically before the final whistle, because we're mostly a bunch of grownups who are really appreciative of what this senior class, especially Duren and Mills, have done to turn the program around. And we recognize this loss hurts and affects them more than it hurts and affects us so there's no need to pile on. Cool?

Dear 1stfloor,
I must admit I was in a rush and did not properly review my post. Having said that my opinion is the same. There is a time and place for everything. This thread is not the place.
