As I mentioned in my Fordahm game thread, no matter who we play we can not take anyone for granted. Thank goodness for Tyreke Duren and the 0.07 seconds. Now, what should we expect on Thursday. I know its senior night but is there a legitimate chance we could lose? Will Taylor Dunn start? Who should we be worried about on GM? I hope we get a good crowd, especially for our 4 year seniors Sam and Tyreke.

Unfortunately it is spring break for students so i expect student side to be weak. Hopefully west side has a good crowd to send off the seniors.

They lost a lot of close games and with a few breaks, could have another 4-5 more conference wins. They took SLU to the wire twice before losing, won comfortably at UMass, lost a close one at GW over the weekend, and blew Richmond out at home last week. They could easily come into Gola and win. La Salle will need to play well to win. I fully expect the starting lineup to be Tyreek, Sam, Tyrone, Taylor, and Jerrell.

I am looking forward to this game in a big way. Mason plays a fast exciting brand of basket ball and as was mentioned has stayed competitive against the conferences top teams. They get a bit sloppy like we do and resort to street ball style.
As always now I am expecting a HUGE game from wright and alot of press from GM. I think our ability to slow them down and make the outside shot will be the difference in a closely contested game. We need to play at our pace and force turnovers from their guards. I see Khalid or mills forcing some pivotal turnovers with less than 5:00 left and winning this one by 3.
It might get sloppy but it is going to be exciting!

It will be emotional game for the seniors and the alumni will spill over to the student side... I think you'll see a ton of assists tonight with Zack and Wright and DJP doing whatever it takes to get the 4 seniors a win, not just tonight but Sunday as well. The guys know that the games will be tight but they are recalling the magic from last year. Every night it is someone different that carries the weight.
And if we are gonna win one game in Brooklyn we might as well treat it like Kansas City 2013 and take all the games and punch our way in.

GMU has hit on 44.7 percent of its field-goal tries on the campaign, but the Patriots have done a terrible job of taking care of the basketball. GMU ranks 11th in the A-10 in turnover margin (-1.57) and is also last in assist-to- turnover ratio (0.8). La Salle's quick and experienced backcourt should be able to limit GMU's open looks and score some easy buckets off of miscues to help the Explorers to another decision.
