Attachment Deleted IMO Steve Zack has been an absolute warrior ( hustle, scoring, rebounds, boxing out, blocked / altered shots, setting picks, distributing the ball, etc.) in 2014 A-10 Conference play. I cannot wait to see his continued development and improvement as a senior next season, which, hopefully, will pave the way -- if he wants -- to a potentially lucrative pro career in either the NBA or in Europe.

Has any La Salle player ever improved more on a year-to-year basis?
I thought he had decent instincts his freshman year but was super limited athletically. But he's put in the work and it shows.

Not just that but he never goes 0 for 5 from the field. He executes at both ends of the floor.

I'd say Weingarten maybe? His numbers aren't great in retrospective but he went from playing in the lower divisions in New England to earning his scholarship here to making the D League. That's a pretty good jump. espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/player/_/id/41801/steve-weingartenZack has been a pleasure and has turned into a heck of a player. He will at least get NBA looks next year if he stays healthy and keeps improving.

Haven't had many true centers here. Steve has done a great job and has become a solid A10 big. Looking forward to his continued development.

Not just that but he never goes 0 for 5 from the field. He executes at both ends of the floor. No, but he went 0-3 vs the Bonnies. 0-2 vs. GW, and he improved in the last month of the season against the powerhouses of the league, going 1-4 vs Fordham, and 1-3 vs GMason. I'm sorry but I saw zero improvement from Zack this year. This is supposed to be one of your big men, but in 18 games he drew two foul shits or less per game. Down the stretch he actually got worse. In 9 of his last 11 games he took 2 or less foul shots per game.

I'm sorry but I saw zero improvement from Zack this year. Read more: explorertown.proboards.com/thread/1263/steve-zack-appreciation-thread#ixzz2ycQxVqjdI guess I saw something different. JR year 296 rebs 9.5 272 pts 8.8 58 blocked shots SO year 172 rebs 6.4 173 Pts 6.4 36 blocked shots ALL-ATLANTIC TEN DEFENSIVE TEAM. How many double doubles did he have? Was in the top 10 nationally for that stat for most of the year.

Yeah, if you want to willfully ignore to that extent, may as well claim its been two decades since we've made the tournament.
