Is it possible to see the start of game day (from 10-10:30), leave the Palestra at 10:30 and return at 11:50, for "medicinal" reasons?

I don't believe they will let you re-enter once you have left. However, I have to ask, do you really need to take care of your so called medicinal problem that early in the day. The game will be over around 2:00PM which should give everyone going to the game a great opportunity for a downtown lunch and a cold one or two.
I just hope we don't have a drunkfest at the Palestra. Trust me, I drink, and I plan on doing some drinking after the game. I have 15 of my buddies coming up from Delaware and we plan on running around Philly all afternoon. I hate the sound of this but I have to say it( I feel like my dad is talking right now)...Lets act with some class and dignity and after a hard fought win go and celebrate.

No, it sounds like your grandad is talking. If you never shared a pop or two with your La Salle buddies at 10:30 am, you probably went to St Joe's.

You guys are really lame, I'm usually finished with my drinking for the day by 9:45 AM at the latest.

I'm gonna be with my Dad so I'll probably not get too drunk, but I think you should get as drunk as you can handle without being an asshole, if you feel like it. I generally don't drink too too much before sporting events because I just get tired and headachey when I sober up in around halftime, but that's me. I imagine most students will be good and lubed up, but I doubt too many over say 30 will really see the urge to pound beers starting at 8AM.
I do agree there's potential for ugliness/ fighting if kids are too drunk, but I think the early time will mostly negate that.
Also the guy who said "medicinal" I usually take that to mean something else, not drinking. And that certainly wouldn't lead to any rowdiness.
