This will be an extremely difficult game. Hurley is a good coach and this is a talented squad, record aside.

Dang. Wouldn't have expected an eight spot, but I guess Vegas is high on La Salle.

definitely a trap...big win, close win, ugly win, lucky win...a win is a win and would actually mean a lot going into the game with Temple.

Preview: La Salle has thrived at the foul line this season, as the Explorers rank third in the conference in free-throw percentage (.699). Duren is tied for first in the A-10 in assist/turnover ratio (2.4). Garland (14.1 ppg) leads La Salle in scoring, and he is followed closely by Duren (13.7 ppg) and Jerrell Wright (12.7 ppg, 6.1 rpg). Senior guard Sam Mills (8.3 ppg) is just behind Zack (9.9 ppg, 9.3 rpg), who heads the conference in rebounding. Zack is also among the top-5 in blocks (2.1 bpg). Wright is shooting 57.9 percent, which is also among the top-5 in the A-10. The Rams are averaging only 67.1 ppg, which is next-to-last in the A-10. They're making just 30.1 percent from beyond the arc, which is at the bottom of the conference as well. www.sportsnetwork.com/merge/tsnform.aspx?c=sportsnetwork&page=cbask/scores/live/preview.aspx?id=70734Sports Network Predicted Outcome: La Salle 74, Rhode Island 67

Duren runs the show. If he's healthy and playing to his potential, we're a really good team. We're strong outside and inside. We have guys who can drive and can shoot. We have really good defenders. We also have guys off the bench who can defend and shoot who also don't make mistakes (DJ) and hustle guys who will do anything to keep possessions and the like (Rohan).
This is such a well-balanced roster, especially when Duren leads the way and gets the ball moving.

Munford and matthews (6.2 and 6.5 height guards) seem to be the main scorers for RI. Does this mean their big men are not scorers. If so, with their poor 3 point shooting you'd think La Salle should do well both in inside scoring and 3 point shooting.
