I am sure many of us alumni have some decent rollout ideas for the upcoming game with Temple. Instead of posting a bunch here and tipping our hand, is there a student on this board who we could private message? Hell, there is a ton of material to stick it to Temple this season!

Temple roll-outs or Jay Bilas roll-outs?

I don't care about letting my thoughts for Jay Bilas rollout become public. A picture of him with caption " this is what an elitist looking like." Also something needs to be said about him saying we didn't belong in the tournament last year. Raftery has been carrying Bilas for years.
I would expect La Salle administration to review all rollouts and signs. Also ESPN is know for confiscating signs they don't like.

In the same theme as this thread, can I ask the students to get some streamers? I would happily send money. That would be amazing to see.

It is a technical foul during the game but nothing stops the students from throwing them during GameDay or as Drexel students did against Northeastern on Saturday after the game ended. It's risky I know.

I know this one won't be made but here's an idea. "You are literally in the dumbest athletic conference in college sports." And "America awaits the next chapter in the great Temple/Central Florida rivalry!"

Problem with the streamers is you could have everyone on board to not throw them on court but all it takes is one guy who's had too much to drink who thinks he's funny and there's a T on the team that's not necessary. Now if Temple/La Salle could both come to an agreement for traditions sake and have both sets of fans do it, you're talking about a memorable Big 5 moment.

Is this the first Big 5 Palestra game on ESPN? I would think that there had to have been a St. Joe's/Nova game during Jameer's big run.

No. I don't know how many have been televised on ESPN over the years. I do recall watching La Salle vs. Saint Joseph's (PA) during "Rivalry Week" on ESPN back during their "Perfect Season*." Jameer and company ran up the score and embarrassed the Explorers.

... as Drexel students did against Northeastern on Saturday after the game ended... All 15 students at the DAC, I'm assuming.

I don't think that was running up the score as much as St. Joe's was arguably the best team in the country and we were pretty bad.

That was the day I got my acceptance letter from La Salle. Turned it on and we were like within 3. Then it got worse from there.

Martelli still had Deloony West in the game at the end. West goes in for a windmill dunk and comes down awkwardly. Looked pretty bad. A La Salle fan yelled " Good I hope he broke his ankle". Brother Mike gave him the Evil Eye. Billy Hahn told Martelli as they had the postgame handshake that he didn't care for him running up the score. Martelli seemed surprised and had to address it after game. This was also the game where those SJU walk-ons get off the bench and stand on the court after the refs passed them.
