Watched them twice this year, including today against New Mexico, they look good and not the overrated team of the past. If they beat New Mexico they would have already done some work for an NCAA bid.
They are so aggressive, even with the new rules. Ref are letting them be aggressive as long as they don't hand check. No reason we can be like we were last year.

I was a year ahead of the curve by loving that squad last year.
(Translation: I was wrong.)

I have been thinking the same thing. We are in for a very tough game up there. Mullins Center could be a house of horrors for the Explorers this time around. They are definitely building an NCAA resume.

I fear the day we play this UMass squad. They're pretty dirty.

And mad tall. That's a team that could upset some really good teams.

It's good for us as their success will help the league RPI overall and give us more opportunities for quality wins.
Winning that game @ UMass would be a huge resume builder, assuming they don't peak by 12/15
Also, Chazz Williams' defense makes ours look like the Steel Curtain...

And mad tall. That's a team that could upset some really good teams. I think they will. Keep this up and they'll terrorize teams through March.
