Did St Alberts always have a wild reputation? By the time I got there, everyone knew that place was going to be reckless year in and year out. Self fulfilling prophecy? La Salle lost plenty of ceiling tiles that year. Actually all of them. I'll always remember opening my door to broken ceiling tiles littering the floor down the entire hall. Nah, Alberts was nothing special from 99-03 anyway (I lived across the way in Bernie for 3 years), of the north dorms Hilary and Jerome were the wildest but the real excitement was often found in Neumann which was like the the wild west. From at least 2000-2, Hilary and Jerome were the Honors dorms and were far from the wildest. I'd nominate St Denis and the other old dorm that sits next to the North Dorms entrance, as among the wildest. At least if we're talking in terms of destruction and write-ups... I wonder how those new dorms in South Campus are. I bet they're pretty, pret-ty nice.

Lived in Basils my soph and junior years (first 2 years it opened) and yes they are really nice. The rooms being air conditioned battles with the floors being co-ed as the top perk. I ended up hooking up with and later dating my next door neighbor...1/10 do not recommend. The quads (2 br, 1ba 1 common area) in there are also really awesome.

I was on campus today and noticed someone is putting up what looks like a multi-tenant project along Wister but closer to Chew. looks to be 8-10 units maybe, but I'm not exactly sure. Brick and stone exterior 3 or 4 floors. Looks really nice and is clearly a brand new building.

It was mentioned here last week. Might be 8 units. Private developer I heard and nothing to do with La Salle.

Meh, as bad as Phi Kap was, they had nothing on TKE for pure debauched scumbaggery. I always enjoyed parties at Pi Kap on 20th st until they lost their charter and shutdown my Sophomore year I think I'm in the minority here, but I never thought the TKE dudes were never as bad as their rep. Atleast no worse than any other frat. Completely agree the TKE guys I knew were sarcastic but good people if you knew them. I also had a high respect for the Phi Kap guys. I'm sure what happened was a terrible misunderstanding that went over the top. I would like to hear the perspective of the kids involved today. Not sure how people can still judge a fraternity as a whole based on the antics of one night, but what do I know.
