Uconn is a great pickup. That is a hard road schedule, designed for more NCAA cred. This is good, because apparently the NCAA does not respect the A10, just giving the Explorers team that went 11-0-1 against A10 opponents last season a FIFTEEN SEED at one of the top 10 teams in the country's house.
There will also be just 8 in conference games, and we know UMass isn't one of them, because they have already announced. Four home and four away is fair and square.
Since the schedule isn't finalized yet, here are some teams I would want to see: Drexel (home), Bucknell (away), and Temple (home).
Thank you for starting this thread. I would post more but I wasn't sure if there was as much off season interest. [/s]

News from the AD/coaches meetings:
The following sites were approved for 2013 championships.
Women's Soccer @ VCU Sports Backers Stadium, Nov. 7-10
Men's Soccer @ Dayton Baujan Field, Nov. 14-17
Both sites are, in my opinion, among the few more fan friendly and player friendly locations in the conference. So this is good news.

Post as much as you wish. The fact that it is here and not on the MBB page shouldn't get anyone's shorts in a bunch.
I had heard that WSOC was working on a match at ACC school this Fall. It won't be UVA, UNC or Maryland (they are still Acc this season?).
I posted some recruits earlier this year but haven't seen La Salle officially announce.
I hope that La Salle can do a Men's and Women's Doubleheader this Fall. This is a fun time with students on campus. Lots of food and music. Helped create atmosphere which landed a couple of recruits.

Yes, the recruits should love the game day atmosphere at La Salle. #packthemac was a huge success two seasons ago. The all hands social media fueled effort on a weekend was something practically unheard of at La Salle up until that point. I thought it was too good to be a one time thing, and that it would become a yearly tradition, for soccer to have an opening day picnic, perhaps even a doubleheader. But last year, sadly nothing more came out of it.
Pretty sure I'll get to a game someday and half the stands will be removed. They are an eyesore, too expensive to overhaul, and no efforts are being made to fill them for men's and women's soccer, (other than the sheer fact the women's team has been winning well over 90% of their home games, and the men have about 67% winning percentage - at least two thirds).

Fordham will be home game on Friday night 10/4 at 7pm. That might be a great night for creating an exciting atmosphere.
Yes, there will be 8 conference matches. UMass and Richmond will not be two of them.
No Wake Forest. Filled their non-conference schedule.

Thanks Hykos. Looks like Paul will have to expand his travel budget. Not many teams in East that can help the RPI. Dayton returns for first game since "Pack the Mc"....As opposed to "Pack the Mac". Could be an exciting Friday night.

Could be an exciting Friday night. @ PENN STATE (National finalist 2012), @princeton (NCAA), @lehigh, @nova, and @uconn will all help the ROAD RPI which should mean more to the selection committee. Travel budget being what it is, I can't think of a better local schedule than the one that has been prepared, except for maybe Rutgers.
