Great article about Brother Ed. People like him are what makes me proud to be a La Salle grad.

I know it's cliche to describe something as "like a movie" but this really feels like it. You can always get a sense of what players are like as people on the court or in the few promotional pieces that pop up. And since La Salle's a small school, it's really easy to hear about the players.
But all of these stories and videos and everything are really show that these guys are characters. They're a bunch of really funny, enthusiastic kids having the time of their lives and letting us go on the rollercoaster with them. Now Brother Ed even gets a moment in the sun, which is great because everyone who ever had him as a student or knows him at all knows how great and weird and funny he is.
All of these little details - Cousin Bern, Sherlock The Cat - are so amazing and great.
Happy Rohan Brown Day, everyone.

What's next ... "cats and dogs living together" (Bill Murray in Ghostbusters).

I would prefer that Gonzalez and O'Neill stop pretending that ther care about La Salle after numerous past insults.

link"Anna Allen, assistant Dean of Students at La Salle University, doesn't understand why enrollment goes up when a schools basketball team is successful." As a current student this comment scared the hell out of me, is the administration that out of touch with their demographic? Have they not seen success stories like VCU and Butler? I'm the farthest thing from troll, I love La Salle. They gave me an opportunity when no one else would, I'm forever in debt to them (both literally and figuratively). My father is an alum, and while you'll never find him at Gola, he loves the success and exposure this run is giving his school. However, I'm fearful the higher ups don't know how to parlay this. I know a new business school is the top priority (my father is successful and is constantly approached by alumni relations for giving), but I need someone on this board to at least ease me doubts about the future.

Sorry but you didn't quote her entirety. She went on to say "It's weird. But it's true. And we are going to capitalize on it." That's all we ask for them to do.

You're right I doctored the quote to make a point.
How can they capitalize on it if they don't understand the reasoning behind it?

Great article about Brother Ed. People like him are what makes me proud to be a La Salle grad. +1. Brother Ed is a great teacher, and a better person. It was really neat to see him profiled in the New York Times.

Step up newspapers from State College and I have no idea where OJ Lewis is from.
BTW, OJ has a catchphrase in the videos. "I told ya'll we was gonna eat." Yet another shirt idea!
