I don't care how he's feeling I wouldn't play him against GW.

Can we win that game without him? We're going to need about 30 minutes from Jerrell if Steve can't go, and Brown and Hunt will need to play a bit. Wait and see how bad the injury is, but I'm very worried about Wednesday without Steve.

I know this is a false choice, but I'd rather have him against GW and not for SLU than the other way around. We're talking seeding on the A-10 thread, but it looks to me like 1 win or 1 Butler loss clinches a Bye for us and 2 wins or a win and a Temple loss clinches the 3 seed for us. And I'm starting to think the difference between 3 and 4 is bigger than the difference between 4 and 5.
Have to win Wednesday.

@jrhill17: DJ Peterson has a mild ankle sprain. Steve Zack's status is unknown--MRI and X-ray forthcoming for him #philahoops

I would be surprised if Zack isn't done for the season. Lis Frank injury comes to mind.

We have 13 days until the A-10 tournament. Need to find a way to beat GW with whoever suits up. That guarantees a Bye. Then we hope he's ready for Brooklyn. But if not, then so be it.

If we play like today no one beats us. Amazing defense to start the game. Continued to build the lead thru suffocating d.

Great crowd on hand today especially considering its spring break. Hopefully there is a similar showing on Wednesday for Ramon.

Back from the game. West side of Gola was packed. Explos looked very very good, shots were falling all day. D was very intense for much of the game. Really worried about Steve Zack. Could have used a picture of Br. Ellis on the video board during the moment of silence for him.

They could have had him sing the national anthem via recording.

Please explain old wise one... As of this minute, La Salle dropped 5 spots from 39 to 44. Who's correct now?

Freaking out about our RPI for playing an A-10 team doesn't make any sense. It's not like we shouldn't have scheduled Duquesne. And like kjmac mentioned, we fel l5 spots. And we still have to play St. Louis and their 29 RPI.

La Salle should be able to make up some ground on Temple over the last two games as George Washington and Saint Louis are rated higher than Fordham and VCU

Jellybean 5-of-12 combined from the arc with 3:38 to go in first half. Might wanna hedge that bet with over on makes and under on takes Ah, that's why they play the entire game. 40 3's attempted. Didn't cover the 40 1/2. LOSS Did have the under 14 1/2 (thanks Duquesne with only 3 made when they average 8)with 13 made. WIN. Would it be a different story if OJ played? Pretty close on the Prop bets. Had the exact number for Duquesne with 64. Great crowd today. Lots of young alumni dads with their little ones. Lots of babies in the house. Saw 6 young alums tailgating by the "beach" volleyball court. I can't get over the number of people who stand on the baseline prior to the game watching warmups. Terrific site. Best sight of the Day. During pregame shoot around, Tyrone Garland finished his shot and went over to a youngster who I would guess was 4-5 years old wearing a Blue La Salle sweatshirt and gave him a fist pump. The little guy looked up at his dad as if to say ".. did you see that Dad?" The young fan never took his eyes off Tyrone for the remainder of the warm up. Precious.

Need a comfortable win, maybe try a new wrinkle or two in preparation of our final 2 games. I don't want this game in doubt at any point. I was at the game and it was NEVER in doubt. Talk about a beatdown (not to be confused with the incredible beatdown that VCU laid on Butler earlier, but a beatdown nonetheless).

Anyone know what the Dukes got T'd up for? The Dukes coach got T'd up for riding one of the refs big time. He was actually a good 5 to 10 feet out on the court jawing at the ref while a play was running.

The only point I was originally trying to make was the only thing that we could really complain about today is that our RPI was going to drop even with a fantastic effort from the team. Everybody knew that would happen regardless except for one poster for some reason.

I haven't had a chance to post yet. But my thoughts:
1) AWESOME game.
2) The defense was beyond nasty today. I don't think the Dukes had a good shot until 5 minutes in the first half.
3) The offense was wonderful. They moved the ball around really well, stayed patient, and let the shots come. 26 assists on 36 FG or something like that.
4) The Ramon/Sam/Ramon alley-oop was Sportscenter worthy. So was Ramon's 38-foot bomb late in the second half.
5) Jerrell was a monster AGAIN.
Steve thoughts will be in that thread.

Maybe 88 knows some inside scoop, but I was close to the action and thought Zack went down due to muscle spasm or dehydration cramps. Let's hope so.
If Jerrell can score a point a minute and get a rebound every two minutes, why the fook does G play him 13-20 minutes a game? This is a question I have posed for two years and I would love an answer from G. He dominates for a minute 30 and gets the hook. Makes no sense.
BTW, the most intimidating lineup this year so far is TD, RG, SM, TG and JW. Why do we see it only for a minute 30 a game? Do you feel me? If so pass it along to G.
