This game should not be that close. La Salle is the better team. Several of the issues I mentioned a few days ago have been reoccurring today. Independent of the result a pretty underwhelming performance on the defensive end. And the offensive performance, the last 6 to 8 minutes have left a lot to be desired.

2nd half has been perplexing to say the least. Hopefully we can pull it together.

Have a bad feeling. We just haven’t played well this n the 2nd half. Doubt we can all of a sudden put it together.

I hope we pull the game out also.
But consistency the difference between winning and losing teams.

Did just enough to win. I will take it. Definitely happy with the win! That is ultimately how we are graded but we need more consistency, better defensive intensity, and just a better second half execution on the offensive end. If we go three or four minutes, going cold on mid range jumpers, then we need to slow things down and have better balance and go into our big man and take advantage of our advantage there.

Did just enough to win. I will take it. Same here. 11-12 FT was huge.

Disappointed with the play in the 2nd half but they pulled it out. This is a game La Salle would lose in previous years. After 3 one sided games to begin the season it was good to see them get tested and come out with a win.

It's been said before, but these are the games we used to lose regularly (and the games Villanova loses now).

Always tough to win on the road. Had more heart than drexel at the end. Good win, go explorers!

Happy with the win but not understanding why Lilly has green light to shoot 3s.

I really like this team. If this was an Ash Howard era team, easily lose this. Lilley has more than surpassed my expectations, and White is super talented. Keep it up guys!

Happy with the win but not understanding why Lilly has green light to shoot 3s. One three down the stretch was really bad. But I can’t criticize the kid, he plays his ass off.

I'm looking at the Box Score. The 'bench' of Zan, Etienne, Fasasi and Jones played a combined total of 38 minutes. Their output: 0 for 8 from the field. Ouch!

Nice road and Big 5 win. Unfortunately I didn’t watch the game, but looking at the box score ; Lilley (18 points 11 rebounds), White (19 points 6 rebounds) and Mckeithan (17 points) played big against Drexel. Well 4-0 is better than 3-1 any time. Next game against UC San Diego on Thursday. Let get another road win baby.

Nice to see a La Salle team make their foul shots. Big disparity there in %’s between the teams today.

Big 5 Win in the other squad's home gym, not easy, and got it done. We dominated the first half but lost the 2nd. First time this year we have lost a half of basketball. To our credit in the 2nd half we managed to control the lead almost throughout. Have to give Drexel some credit they have some guy that can play, they looked good, particularly the 2nd half. Thankfully, they are not very good at their foul shots (at least yesterday). As others have mentioned here defensive breakdowns in the 2nd half will be worth looking at and working on. I am more incline to think offensive dry spells are going to happen. But, as others have pointed out our reserves had a bad day not their usual scoring contributions.
Interested in other's analysis.

Ouch! so what. the bench produced in the first three games, yesterday not so much. it happens. doubt whether this will be the case on a regular basis. drexel's 'bench' shot 2 for 9 and contributed 4 points in 30 minutes. la salle won without playing well. be happy.
