My goodness we are so well coached.
Lafayette moves the ball from one side of the court to the other like you are supposed to and every LaSalle player rotates to contest the shot.
Just beautiful team basketball.

Not much to not like about this team so far. They hustle, they rebound, they play tough D, they can score, they share the ball and they are well coached.

wow, enjoyed the heck out of that half. Amazing how a few sloppy passes so stand out when you otherwise play so well. Let's bring the same game in half # 2, please.

We up by 17, 45-28 today against Lafayette. Defense is excellent and the offense is running smoothly. Marrero (16 pts) and Mckeithan(8 pts) combined 24 out of the 48 points for us. We just keep up the intensity in the second half and the victory is our baby.

I hope we hold on to this big lead to give the walk on a chance to play on the new floor.

Just checking in. Thing that pops the most, other than the score, 42-17 advantage on the boards.

Watching from home. Really impressive. Lafayette doesn’t have a ton of athleticism. But there have been previous seasons where teams that run the type of offense one usually associates with low-major teams with good academic reputations would drive us nuts. Obviously we have none of that today. Well coached, not missing rotations and etc. Some games we won’t shoot the ball well. But if this keeps up we’ll be okay.

Can’t remember this program having the depth we have right now. Everyone is so active.
I am still a little worried about our ability to score on bigger teams but we look to be much better than projected.

Watched on ESPN+. They showed good, controlled aggression on offense. I liked Brantley and Brickus, but McKeithan and White score AND have size. This is the biggest La Salle squad that I can remember.

This was a nice easy win today against Lafayette 80-61. J. White (16 pts & 13 rebs) 1st double double in a LaSalle uniform. Mckeithan (14 pts) and Marrero (18 pts) started the hot shooting early in the 1st half. Shepherd (14 pts) has been playing consistently in the past two games. The defense been light out and l love the ball movement in the offense to get everyone involved. My armchair coach player of the game is J. White with his first double double as an Explorer. Enjoy the victory today and get ready for Cornell on Tuesday night. Let get it baby

Cautiously optimistic about this team. Some good talent on this team and Duece gets better every minute he’s on the floor. Cornell up next and the Ivies are never easy.

What we've seen so far is very encouraging.
I'm sure the Atlantic Ten coaches have tremendous respect for Fran Dunphy, but to bet against him (by picking him 15th) is a huge mistake.

Tyrone Garland was sitting right behind me. I thought it was him but didn’t want to say anything then a guy walked by with a SW Philly Floater shirt and he says “I like that shirt” and I just said “That’s you isn’t it?” And he said yes.
