the girl from california is another d2 transfer, averaged 11 pts and 7 rbds for a bad team. only 5 players returning based on an interview with him on the cobl site and only one got major minutes. i thought i saw that fiona connolly was in the portal but maybe she changed her mind. unless the incoming freshman and transfers can make a significant impact, it could be a long season. www.cityofbasketballlove.com/news_article/show/1269607jaye haynes has found a new home. never understood why she didn't play more. one of mountain's highest rated recruits.

Damn another one transfer from the program. This going to be a new look roster with freshmen and sophomore. I hope this is no rebuilding year for us. #GoExplorers

Another low level transfer. Leading scorer on an average team but 5"7 guard who shot 20% from 3, and 60% from FT. I am scratching my head if this formula Mountain is going to can succeed. Even worse in 2021-2022 season she shot 2 for 21 from 3 or .95%. Bad TO/Assist ratio as well. Hope she is a defensive stopper.
Nothing is easy at 20th & Olney.

How many women from La Salle transferred out this year? I’m just guessing, around 4 or 5 players transfer. DAMN

Most A10 programs are losing on average four players this off-season. It's been rumored we have had as many as seven in the portal. That is the way of the world now. Only way it ever slows down is if everyone loses their transfer eligibility.
Anyone know whether Crawford comes back for a COVID year?

Thank you, that is quite a turnover but not too different from what about two thirds of the A10 is experiencing this off-season. For instance, it appears both Fordham (interim coach) and UMass (new coach) lost their best returning scorer to the portal, as well. And those are just two of the top five programs in this conference.

Joanie Quinn from O’Hara committed to La Salle.
Great get from a top program where we have not made inroads for a long time.

Joanie Quinn from O’Hara committed to La Salle. Great get from a top program where we have not made inroads for a long time. I'll tie it together. She is Annie Gallagher (1993-97 PG) and John Gallagher's niece. Joanie's mom, Joan, played at BC.

Man, Coach Mountain, is reloading with a bunch of newcomers for 2023. He picked up another commit from a local product belfield : Methinks Reese Zemitis, a 6'-1" Neshaminy H.S. junior ( class of '24 ) wing with prior offers so far from Penn, Harvard, Columbia, Bucknell, Loyola ( Md), Niagara, Manhattan, Binghamton, Army, Lafayette and Monmouth, has not committed to La Salle at this early stage, but is simply acknowledging and expressing her gratitude for our interest and basketball scholarship offer. ( May 29, 2023 ) Unwelcome news :
