Yes....this is ingenious - just what my wife needed, a reason for me to watch MORE college hoops games not featuring La Salle and yet have a rooting interest.
V for Victory tonight!!!

Yeah, this is incredible. Should be interesting tomorrow once there's a bunch of A-10 games on the slate. See exactly what helps us in those games RPI wise.

Thanks. Nice tool. Does anyone know of a website that would give you a hypothetical outcome between say La Salle vs. any opponent? Teamranking.com does but only for opponents on your schedule.

One of the best tools I have seen to date. Thanks for sharing.

So today:
Miami (Fla.) needs to beat Florida State Game Info: 7:00 PM | TV: ESPN2
Bucknell needs to beat Colgate Game Info: 7:00 PM
Hartford needs to beat Maine Game Info: 7:00 PM
Yesterday, Nova lost, well was blown out, and I think that helped us. It hurts their at large chances. If they were to win, it was another top 50 win and puts them next to us. Also, Indiana State lost to very bad Missouri State. This is very important because they leap frogged us in some brackets after their Creighton win.

Yeah, Nova would help our RPI but at this point just winning our games is more important. If it came down to us vs. Nova for the final bid, we obviously beat them head-to-head but they're a Big East team who beat the Big East's best teams. I don't like our chances against that.
The MVC's really top heavy this year. Indiana State losing to the bottom feeder is good for us in a head-to-head competition. But they have that win over Miami who might end up being the number one rated RPI team by the end of the year.
Being a part of this is a lot of fun.

We got 2 out of 3. Maine beat Hartford in a close one.

YES to Miami.
YES to Bucknell.
Hartford lost to Maine by 2.
Delaware also scalped Northeastern by 2. That game's a push for us but Northeastern's been on a great run.

I doubt any of those improve our RPI anything significant.

I doubt any of those improve our RPI anything significant. Agreed... I think loses by other bubble teams will have a bigger impact today.. I have not looked to see if there are any games like that today

Yeah, this is incredible. Should be interesting tomorrow once there's a bunch of A-10 games on the slate. See exactly what helps us in those games RPI wise. When it comes to A10 games, the only ones that will ultimately affect the RPI are games that match teams LaSalle plays twice vs teams LaSalle plays once. In those cases, root for the team that LaSalle plays twice. If I'm not mistaken, I think GW is the only school in that category this year.

That, and we're Butler/VCU/CCSU fans fromo here on out because we need to ripen our wins and offset our "bad loss".

Minnesota is up 5 on #1 Indiana. This doesn't directly affect La Salle's RPI, but you certainly don't want a team that is ranked in the same class as you (Lunardi had them 2 slots above us today), to get such a monster, resume-building win. I hope the Hoosiers come back.

Gophers knock off Hoosiers.
Xavier upsets Memphis 64-62 with a wild end of game.

Well, our RPI will improve. As does Xavier's resume.

Xavier has 11 losses. They would have to beat Butler and SLU, and I think get to the A-10 Championship Game to have much of a case at an at-large.
That said, don't sleep on them winning it all in Brooklyn.

Xavier is 16-11. They have some excellent wins (Memphis, Butler, La Salle), but can match all of them with questionable losses (Pacific, Wofford, Dayton, Wake Forest, Vanderbilt). They don't have a tournament resume. If they weren't Xavier, no one would be talking about them.

Xavier's RPI is way too low. They aren't in the conversation. If anything, Xavier will jump to a high NIT seed as they were about a #6 or #7 NIT seed before this win.

Penn State about to beat Michigan. Not sure how much that helps us, but I know it will a little. Glad to see it.

Happy for them tonight. That team should have been ok this year, not a contender in that league, but respectable. Losing Frazier derailed everything and they've had an awful year. Nice to seem them at least get a big win tonight.
