Looks like Brian Quinn who worked in fundraising for Athletics at La Salle is gone. Just found out when the new ticket guy called me asking why I hadn't renewed yet. I told him Brian had sent me an email and a voicemail on August 3rd promising to send me the virtual sellout items in the next two weeks...and true to La Salle form...it is August 31 and nothing has showed up. I told him I wanted them to fulfill something for the people that gave to the Virtual Sellout or announce some facilities plans before I renewed so I felt like they were at least trying to get things on track.
He said...Oh...Brian is no longer with La Salle.

He's gone from the staff list and his old page url returns a 404 so yeah, he's probably gone.

Tom Gola just rolled over in his grave again. I'll check on Gola next time I visit Father in Laws grave at Washington Crossing National cemetery. I discovered Tom Cola is buried a few rows from him and I stop by to visit when I'm there. His inscription reads "A Gentle Man"

That sucks. Hope he has another gig lined up. He's a good guy and someone La Salle needs.
Regardless of circumstances for the change this is another example of the Board's non-vision and non-transparency for athletic planning that make jobs like Brian's impossible to do.

Plans and implements recognition for donors, including writing thank you letters, making personal calls, arranging meetings, hosting events, etc

Baptiste looks like he is taking advantage of the leadership void to bring in a number of his people.
It's funny, his La Salle bio states "A rising star in the field of intercollegiate athletics, Baptiste joined La Salle in June 2019 after nearly seven years at Northwestern, where he has served as Deputy Director of Athletics for Capital Projects and Operations since 2015... Baptiste oversaw unprecedented athletic facility upgrades, including the $270 million construction of the Ryan Fieldhouse, Wilson Field, and Walter Athletics Center at Northwestern. The project, which impacted 19 programs and more than 500 student-athletes ... to enhance the student-athlete experience. In addition, Baptiste led the planning and construction of the $110 million renovation of Welsh-Ryan Arena,.."
These moves looks a lot like reshuffling deck chairs on the Titanic.
To mix another metaphor here, "Coffee is for closers." He has closed squat since 2019.

While I get how the biography could certainly be interpreted as self serving or self promoting (especially since he would have control over whatever gets posted on the site).. But you have posted a couple times now insinuating that there is no oversight and that athletics is some forgotten entity to the BOT? I was wondering where you are getting that line of thinking from? I can ensure you that isn’t the case

"His biography isn't balanced enough" would have been perfect Explorertown parody if not real.

I can ensure you that isn’t the case 8 years of inaction after a major matching gift No master plan rollout or communication to alumni Woefully non-competitive facilities, so bad that we lose recruits on a regular basis to programs that were behind us but are now ahead of us Declining enrollment Lack of student interest Not attracting students from traditional feeder schools Stretching to accept students to fill seats Running entire programs into the ground Endowments are down compared to peers and inadequate Two two year searches for a President No succession planning These are facts, not insinuation What has the Board done in a positive vein in the last 8 years to overcome these points.

No way I'd want a guy who turned a free bi monthly local newsletter into a media empire worth $450 million having anything to do with La Salle's money. What a foolish thought.

Triple whammy ? Does anyone else view ( as I do ) the simultaneous departures of Brian Quinn, Ed Lefurge and the Assistant Director of Development as both anomalous and disturbing ?
