Ash Howard has done pretty good so far at recruiting so far. There are some really good players in the class of 2022 what recruits dose people will help get the explorers back in the tourney!!!

There is a strong possibility that there will be no recruits from the class of 2022. It is my understanding that last season was a "free year" eligibility wise. That means that everyone on the roster has at least 2 years of eligibility left after last season. I think that Moore is the only player who would get a 5th year. Since there are no scholarships currently available there would be no new recruits or transfers for the '22-'23 season unless someone leaves. I think that Ash had to set it up this way because there is no way to predict who stays and who goes. However, transferring after last season had to be tempting since everyone can play immediately this coming season.

This may go down as the most confusing thread of all time. I had to double check to make sure I wasn't on the St. Joes Message board.

Regardless there will be transfers. Short of La Salle have some better than expected year you can bet your last dollar Ash will bring in other players.

This year is a make it or break it year for Coach Ash and no excuse this year because all the player on the roster is his recruit. Go Explorer.

Last year ended in such a disappointing fashion. It has been really difficult to muster any optimism since, but the recruiting has given me some. On paper we are bringing in some talent. We need more talent to compete. Speedy used a term when referring to some recruits as "intriguing". He was "intrigued" by what their game would bring. In the late 90's dismal La Salle basketball recruiting world that translated to will they be a D1 caliber or not? My optimism carries me just so far at this time. I am "intrigued", will our new recruits be truly A10 caliber? Make us truly A 10 caliber? Get us at least into the A 10 mid-pack?

He's like a top-30, top-40 kid. If he chooses La Salle, time to be more than optimistic.
