Didn't learn a ton of new stuff, but when it's in the paper of record, that's pretty awesome. Think about the people who read the New York Times every day.

I didn't know that about Ramon's brothers. Geez.
He also pretty much literally transferred home. His family's house is within walking distance of campus. That hill's a pain in the neck as those of us who either lived in Neumann and/or were comm majors know but still.

I've never wanted La Salle to win so badly. I think an NCAA bid really helps Ramon's chances at the NBA. He's got work to do but the tourney and his ability to play big in the bright lights (See: NIT, 2012) and in big moments (See: Butler, 2013 - 8.4 Seconds) would draw some positive attention to him and the program.

Thanks. I knew about his dad but not the other challenges he and his family has faced. His story is inspiring.
