Nah, east Newtown, PA. The old Thiokol facility, not far from I-95, needed some major land acquisition. LaSalle -Bucks County.......the Acme approach, abandon Philly. (actually the Catholic League/schools bailed as well). Too late now. Back in 1997 - 1999 La Salle was presented with the opportunity to acquire a large tract of land at low cost to relocate the University to Warminster, Bucks County that was part of the 824 acres of NAWC, the former Naval Air Warfare Center at Street Road and Jacksonville Road which officially closed as of March 31, 1997. After a series of meetings and tours of the site ( arranged by then U.S. Congressman, the late Mike Fitzpatrick - a La Salle alum - the University's Delegation subsequently declined to pursue further interest or consideration. The land in question is now fully occupied by, among other things, a COSTCO store, a hotel and the large Ann's Choice Over - 55 Retirement Community. www.bracpmo.navy.mil/brac_bases/northeast/former_warfare_center_warminster.html View Attachment I grew up about 3 miles from here, and it would be difficult to consider La Salle a Philadelphia "city" school had this happened. Also, there is this: www.toxicsites.us/site.php?epa_id=PA6170024545

so his post is titled patriot league talk but in the post he speculates la salle is going to the caa. if you're going to troll, at least get the info to match up. You are correct
It is the CAA. We are not trolling. I got this from a very reliable source.
I believe my source. He was the same guy that told me Dudey Moore was going to be hung in Effigy outside College Hall in 1961.
He was correct.
Coach Dudey Moore lines up his starting array as the Explorers prepare for Wednesday's game with North Carolina State at the Palestra. (left to right) Billy Raftery, Bobby McAteer, George Friedrich, Joe Carey and Tony Abbott. Dudey, in his pre-effigy heyday.

Dudey was 79-37 as the La Salle men’s basketball coach. That is like a .681 winning percentage. Not too shabby.

St Louis blues......after an opening round NIT loss and never having won the MAC during his tenure. His Duquesne record was 191-70 .732 (10 yrs) with multiple post season appearances (6 of 10).
