Hi everyone,
Just a short note that one of our moderators, theneumann64 , will be retiring from those duties. He's going to be taking some time away from the board and no longer wishes to be a moderator. He was our first moderator aside from me and has always done a great job being level-headed when I am not and also keeping the board in line. I went back through some of our messages and the earliest one I had was a discussion in 2013 about whether or not using the term "Official" to describe the message board would piss off the school.
So, in short, I thank him for a near decade of service as a moderator and hope that he'll continue to post here and also put out more La Salle podcasts. Godspeed.

That said, it is now down to myself and calsufan as moderators of this board. For the foreseeable future, that will be the setup but we will be looking to add an additional moderator to the ranks. There are no benefits and no pay. You do have to make some decisions. You also have to log in relatively frequently as the biggest job that we have is approving/rejecting new registrants...about 25% of which are spam.
If you are interested, you can direct message one/both of the moderators with your desire to join. We will probably add somebody in the late summer before the season ramps up. A couple notes:

This post is going to remain open but please do not inquire about becoming a moderator on here...send us a message. Also, anything derogatory towards Mr. Neumann or the moderators or the board will not be allowed to be kept here. I'll delete the posts and lock the thread. Thanks for listening.

- While the three of us agreed on a lot, we did not always agree. Agreement with us is not a requirement and we vote on every decision that we don't have to make in the moment (like blocking/banning/deleting inflammatory posts)
- That said, there are a few people on here that have had running disagreements with both moderators. I will not elevate somebody that is not on the same wavelength regarding both purpose and content of this board.
- Again, there is no pay. The benefit you get is the ability to manage the board, if that is something you're interested in doing.
