Put him on the list of people I'd take a chance on in the future if La Salle didn't have a coach.
Rose too high, too fast. But can coach for sure.

I don't think you would be "taking a chance" with him. He'd put a winning team on the floor, no doubt. But it'll cost you at least $3 mill a year. Was earning 2.8 at Arizona. I don't think his value took a hit at all. And based on the above posts, I'm thinking the job with the Pels is just get acclimated to the NBA. Could he be on the Sixer's radar if there's an early playoff exit this year??

Is Pitino making what he made at Louisville? No chance.

You think they would fire Doc Rivers after 1 season, especially when he put product on the floor that can play around Simmons and Embiid? That was thought to be impossible last year. This team was thought to have to somewhat blow it up and part from either one of the 2, especially after last season's 1st round playoff exit.

I don’t always believe in goodwill/intangibles but I’d think leaving division one would have an overall (indirect) negative affect on the university

Not that this is big news...DelState fired their Men's basketball coach..Eric Skeeters...he will be replaced by Sanford Prep's (an elite HS that wins DE HS BBall titles) Coach Stan Waterman. Interesting stuff here in the First State.
Waterman has produced some D1 talent...most recently Nnanna Njoku heading to Nova.
