Archie Miller is out at Indiana. 4 years and never to the dance. He walks with over $10 million. Archie Bell and the Drells may have “danced just as good as they walked” but Archie Miller walks with $10 million without dancing.

Rumors are he won't be unemployed long. He's reportedly the favorite for the New Mexico job

Potentially huge for big 5 schools for psu to hire someone with no connection to Philly. Chambers absolutely gutted local mid majors

He recruited A10 players to State College, which was bad for the big 5, and bad for Penn State.

Absolutely no ties to the program, nor the state of Indiana for that matter. Arch can sit out a year, and wait in the wings for a Pitt opening if Capel doesn't turn that program around next year.

Sooo ... that has to be him not agreeing to an extension versus being fired for performance, right?

Wow, this (and the 6 PSU departures) is March madness before the real March Madness.
I wonder if the Javon Greene transfer did Paulsen in. I thought he did a good job this year and in coaching up under the radar talent. Unless they have a deal to get a big name, there is a lot of risk there IMO. Would have been better to see how he did next year IMO, but Mason has massive state resources, unlike us so maybe they are hunting for a big name.

DePaul only fired Leitao once. The first go round he left for UVA. Then they fired him. Then he got DePaul again

To be fair to Coach K., he was a high level assistant for five years and a head coach in the CBA before landing his first college head coaching job. If "any former La Salle players" started on that path now, I'd be fine with them being considered during the 2027 offseason.

Per a friend Wojo is out at Marquette Per a friend? Posted an hour ago? News broke 3 hrs ago on social media with national writers. Also news broke at roughly the same time that Mihalich is essentially retiring and moving to the athletics office at Hofstra

Shaka Smart is getting the crap kicked out of him after the loss to Abilene Christian. www.burntorangenation.com/2021/3/22/22344617/bevos-daily-roundup-analysts-texas-shaka-smart“Smart is beloved in his locker room and respected on campus, but he wasn’t brought here to kiss babies and win popularity contests. His job was to win a game or two in the Big Dance, which isn’t really much to ask given the demands placed on his football colleagues. Tom Herman won a Sugar Bowl and went 4-0 in bowl games and got run out of town.” Welcome to Texas.... I have followed Coach Smart since he first got the VCU job when VCU was in the CAA. Could be a goner...
