That game stunk... Baylor punched them in the mouth, and the zags never recovered. They get after it on defense.

That game stunk... Baylor punched them in the mouth, and the zags never recovered. They get after it on defense. Baylor guys looked like players. Gonzaga guys looked like they belonged in a rec league. Just too much size and athleticism. When the shots didn't fall for Gonzaga (and they certainly fell for Baylor early), there was just no pivot to be had for the Bulldogs. Baylor winning a national championship less than two decades after one of their players murdered a teammate sure is something. Program was dead.

Don't forget the head coach tried to label the dead kid a drug dealer to cover for illegal payments made to players.

Dave Bliss takes the cake for the biggest asshole in college sports. Cal gets his fair share of criticism, Boeheim, Pitino, Tark, Sampson, Harrick, Sean Miller, Mike Rice, the dude that was at Morgan state who's name escapes me... all of this guys have cheated and/or been involved in scandals...
But trying to paint your dead transfer player as a drug dealer when he was killed by one of your other players...a show cause isn't enough punishment. Jail time should've been on the table.

Stop exaggerating, Baylor has won 20 or more games probably 9 of the last 10 years. If that's coming from the dead, what's LaSalle.

Fun fact...I watched La Salle beat Baylor in Tokyo in 1990 when I was a sophomore and they brought the band and cheerleaders. I still have the program with the cover featuring La Salle vs Baylor!
