I don't think he does it either. Giannini's Big 5 record seems safe.

Always foul up three. Always. Always. Always. Except when the player is taking a 3 pointer?

Also... When up 3 in OT, don’t shoot a 3

Worst offensive half of basketball I’ve seen I fell asleep with 11 left to go in the first... if I had stayed awake I may have made some foolish in game bets

How the fuck does this happen in a bubble? Goodman has been all over this. One of his many tweets on the subject Shame on the A10 for not having all their ducks in a row. They played the tourney a week early, only to have 2 teams sit around for 8 days, when said finals site was compromised, resulting in losing a Tourney game by forfeit. Really nice.

What a letdown for the VCU kids. I am curious to see if other positives pop up now with other programs or officials. There is some potential here for this to spiral. There's a lot of time before the Final Four, but imagine a team having to forfeit their Final Four game.

Embarrassing the conference couldn’t/wouldn’t do better than the same accommodations I could book tomorrow.

I don't understand this, it's really simple... high school tournament going on at UD arena, play the fucking game elsewhere. Wright State, really any clean, regulation size gym or indoor court that nobody else used....just get to the bubble clean, that's all that the conference owed its teams.
Instead, it compromised its own tournament protocol.

Stunningly stupid. Apparently, events in Richmond were managed well. Why play the title game in Dayton? TV commitments would not have to be changed. Stunningly stupid.

I guess this made the A10 a 1 bid league this year.

I guess this made the A10 a 1 bid league this year. No, it made the A10 a stupid league. I could never understand why the hell we had the finals in a different city than the rest of the games. You're introducing more risk and more potential for things to go wrong. If tv money was the reason, sometimes it's okay to say no. Just really, really stupid.

It totally nullified what the league was trying to do when the moved the tourney up a week. They had the responsibility to isolate 2 teams, coaching staffs, and officials, and they dropped the ball. I've talked about McGlade ad nauseum for years, but this negligence takes the cake. If this further contaminates the tournament bubble in Indianapolis, and puts the Dance at risk, it's time for a change in leadership. We've been dealing with covid for a year now, it's unacceptable to have these lapses in judgment.

I’ll gladly take a debate about A10 leadership over a debate on the next head coach/athletic director/president. May I suggest Tim Legler for this position?
