Before Bonnies i believe Brockington was originally committed to NJIT, as well. Every kid needs to find the best opportunity for them, but he certainly is well-traveled at this point.

very disappointing news. i thought maybe we were going to get this kid after the walk-on from sanford committed. they were high school teammates for 3 years. he would have been perfect to fill the last scholarship. versatile combo forward who can score, rebound and defend. you don’t find it weird he didn’t play a single minute at providence?
Concussion issues... Not weird at all

Dude had Covid and then Mono. Tough run.
He's 24? Don't think it's worth it on the young team.

Who cares if we win 13 games because we are young or win 13 games with a young team and have a 24 year old in the program. This program still needs help. If Ash shut recruiting down with this class he is just stupid and deserves to get fired. I would hope he is not that and realizes we are far from close to competing with this roster and still trying to find help.

If he’s gonna get you 15 and 10 on the regular and play 30m then sure, but he’s never done that at any level so my take is to not insert a kid who’s five years older than much of your team into a lineup to just fill a PF role.
And my guess is he’ll go to a school in the Midwest.

I am just looking for any kind of help in the frontcourt. I just can’t rely on the players we have in place there. I just can’t reconcile the Rutgers transfer. Tegra should have gotten those 12-15 minutes a game. I would rather have saved that scholarship u til we found someone who could push Moore and compete with him for the important frontcourt minutes.

So we'll chide Doucoure for averaging 2.7 pts and 3.2 reb for a Big 10 team in his only real (freshman) season but won't do the same for Braden Burke and his 4.3 points and 2.7 rebounds for Robert Morris (in his only real freshman season).
Hard pass tbh

Hard pass tbh My point is not directed at taking the Burke kid. It is an overall concern that we don't have enough talent in the frontcourt and not developing a kid who a year ago Ash thought would be a contributing part of the program.

I'd pass on most one year stop gaps, unless they are a special enough player to help us carve out like 18 wins.... but I'd think those players would go to postseason contenders.

There are three really solid programs in Illinois, FSU and LSU; they have a ton of talent and good/great coaching. Ill makes the most sense to me.

jake lieberman @jakelieberman2 Penn State freshman transfer Abdourachid Tsimbila ( @abdourachid56 ) tells me that he's heard from San Diego, Southern Utah, La Salle, Fordham, among others since entering the portal.
Averaged 1.1 points and 1.6 rebounds.

Except he was arguably better in his freshman year than your stud transfer from Rutgers was in his 4th year. Bonnies also actually added some talent via the portal so they don't need anyone else in late may. Wonder what that is like........

Completely different direction here... But just read that Jordan Hall signed with an agent and is declaring for the NBA draft.
