Christian Ray liked the tweet.
Could be just showing support for Jared or perhaps liking the idea of transferring.

I think young people often like each other's tweets by reflex so hard to tell if there's any greater significance.

I've been posting for awhile about Kimbrough's athleticism and ability. Particularly after his 24 point breakout game where he completely dominated St. Joe in January. Then Ash continued his same old, same old way of coaching as though that never happened. I agree that he never settled on a core five the whole season. No effective coaching at La Salle since Speedy. No identity whatsoever. "When you think La Salle, you think______". (intentionally left blank).

No effective coaching at La Salle since Speedy. can't agree with this part. G DID get us to a Sweet 16. Speedy never got us there...even with a National Player of the Year

No effective coaching at La Salle since Speedy. G DID get us to a Sweet 16. Nothing like losing by 11 as a higher seed on Thursday of the A10 Tournament and having chalk across the country win their tournaments to be the second to last at-large in. Losing Steve Zack was a blessing for that team, not a curse, because it opened up 30 minutes for guys that could put the ball in the basket. How they played with that team was how they should have played all along. It was coaching forced on him. Fun times though.

It's not like that was an upset, it was a #4/#5 seed game in which Butler was favored to win. That La Salle team also won 20 plus games in back to back seasons pre-ncaa tourney run when Zack got hurt. Those 4 guards all played 24 plus minutes a game and I would be confident in saying 3 of them played at least 30 minutes a game and that's not even including the minutes DJ would get with them. That was a very very good team that played great basketball together, definitely wasn't all G's doing and I know many of them had their issues with him as a coach but he deserves a heck of a lot of credit for getting to the Sweet 16. Just typing this makes me miss those days!

This was my first thought back in the fall when the school announced baseball was being cut. jackson ray graduated last year and i assume he chose to not use the extra year of eligibility the ncaa granted to spring sports. he's not on this year's roster. la salle didn't announce they were dropping baseball until september 29, 2020 and are playing their last season this year.

Forgot about 1st half... my apologies. i remember this game well as i was there. the team was trying to adjust to playing without zack and ramon really struggled that day. i walked out of barclay's thinking they were nit-bound but they got in (deservedly so) and the rest is history.

Christian Ray liked the tweet. Could be just showing support for Jared or perhaps liking the idea of transferring. of course it's supporting a (former) teammate. Why are you even speculating into why a 20 y.o. would like a tweet? you may have been thinking about the St Louis game the Saturday prior, on TV, in which we almost burst our bubble chances by getting blown away by a Q1 team. We (fans) I think wanted to get the 5 seed so that we could get one more crucial win against then 12 seeded... Dayton? but because of tiebreakers we got the dreaded double bye which we have never done well with (either time!)

the team was trying to adjust to playing without zack and ramon really struggled that day. So much of that offense ran through Zack in the high post.
