St. Joe's doesn't even look like they run a patterned offense. Yuck!

Piss poor last three minutes from a team that has no business letting down as bad as we are.
Beatty is a senior and makes two bone head plays that leads to 4 straight points. At least Ash took him out.
Our seniors are just not very good all around basketball players.

Got home from work in time to see a Marvin O'Connor like run by the Hawks. Thank God they have no one of that caliber on this team.

Agreed. I wasn't sure I was happy at the end, but let's be happy with the win.

Didn't watch the game. Happy with the result, regardless of the effort in the last 5 minutes. At the end of the day, we're 3-4 in the A10. Yeah, we have some work to do, but anything can happen.

I must say - he appears to be resting peacefully. +18 points in paint +1 reb 19:14 ast to TO +7 points off TOs 57 FG%/42 3PT% allowed 53% / 44% Steps in the right direction (minus opponent shooting of course). Let’s hang tough Saturday vs the Spiders and build on this.

LaSalle has a history of making winning feel like losing. Very weak minded basketball last 5 minutes. Foul shooting, foul shooting, foul shooting!!!

I was happy with the effort, up until the last 4-5 minutes of the game.We completely dominated them through 3/4 of the game. Our wins have become so rare, that it sounds like unnecessary griping ,when u have a few critical remarks. My biggest complaint- The way we let up in the last 4 minutes, made the score deceiving in nature. We are not at the point where we can ever” coast” at the end of a game. Otherwise,a WIN is a WIN! Especially against that school! Go Explorers!

Honestly, a very weird game but HUGE props to Kimbrough. I hope he keeps up that aggressiveness going forward.
SJU is a complete mess and I don't think this game is really a gauge for us going forward. Even though, despite the last few minutes I'm pretty pleased how they played for most of the second half.
We need to find a balance between our 3 point shooting and driving to the basket. Our lack of driving has really held back out FTR and caused a rebounding issue. There were a few VERY bad turnovers but the problem seems to be slightly improving and it seems Brickus is getting comfortable running the point.
Our schedule gets increasingly more difficult from here on out so we will see what happens. One key thing I'm watching is how this team ends it's last few games of the season. They have a lot of work to do.

I listened to the game on the ride down the turnpike back from dropping my daughter off at Duquesne (the new basketball facility looks amazing there). I wanted to drive my car off the turnpike in the first 10 minutes but was happy we came storming back. It sounded like Kimbrough was having an amazing game and our defense forced a good run of turnovers.
Last 5 minutes...I wanted to crash my car again but was happy they won...and covered!
Curious if the TV announcers gave any word on Daly's return as Kale didn't...wondering if he will be back when we play them again in a few weeks.

Generally agree with comments above and will add a few
We need to finish at the hoop better. Better angles to and better finishes at the hoop. We settle too much when we get in the paint within 7’ of the hoop and give up on a finish or pull up jumper and instead make a long pass away from the hoop. This has led to bad TOS and we are losing on the conversion analytics when we make those choices. The only way that bad decision works is if we have 4 40 percent options on the floor - we don’t. So we need to finish better and have nearby cutters ready.
JK did a great job cutting off ball and getting to a good rebound spot off a shot to “take out the trash with a rebound and put back. We need at least 1-2 more players doing this.
We have to work on making FTs. Giving away wins with these misses Guys are playing hard but you have to settle and finish. Sprint drills then FT practice with settle and make development is key.
I noticed some negative team/game body language from Sherif. Don’t know if related to Ayinde or other factors but it struck me. Could not “join in” several times when he should have IMO

Does Ash stick with Brickus, Ray and JK in the starting lineup on Saturday? I think JC needs to come off the bench, he seems to consistently get off to bad starts when placed in the starting lineup. Speaking of Brick, how was his game yesterday? Saw that he played 31 minutes, with 0 TOs. Only 2 assists. My feeling is that he needs to shoot the ball more when he has an open shot.

One interesting piece of info out of the broadcast if I heard this correctly is that we would be playing SJU on MLK Day on an annual basis. Also, I thought Brian Baptiste did a great job representing the University and the Conference on a national broadcast yesterday.

I have probably only seen 20 or so SJU/La Salle matchups in my day. But I have a hard time imagining a worse game has every been played in this rivalry. SJU seemed to go 20 out of 22 possessions with a turnover or absolutely awful shot. This was PAINFUL. Both teams looks absolutely horribly coached, undisciplined, and unskilled. This was BAD. No one wins this, but wow, sju stinks. And wow, we are also really really really bad.

Just want to point out we're all displeased about a 21 point 2nd half lead we let bleed out to still win by 7. St. Joseph's of PA suuuuuuucks.
