Stupid. Why? We have been on the receiving end far too many years. Grow up. La Salle has never looked like Fordham today against a non-good team. No, many many teams have made us look like this. Did you forget? Why even waste the energy, have some class.

It's definitely time to empty the bench and gets some guys extra experience.

A transcript of these announcers would drive a few posters here insane.

I'm surprised that Kimbrough is just getting into the game now.

Would be cool if all the music in and out of timeouts was Philadelphia based. Roots, Youngstas, Bahamadia, probably some others that aren’t from 20+ years ago ...

Did what they needed to do today, nice to see a blowout win. Hikim has looked light years better over his last two games from the beginning of the year.

47 bench points. It's a ridiculous box score.

No letdown game tonight. Exclamation point on the week. Next up: 7-1 Saint Louis in their A10 opener after two postponements.

Announcers Lerner and McCormick have had to come up with a lot of filler to do a game like this. They have covered a lot of ground. They have talked about every thing except their mom’s recipes for beef braciole. Are we going to break the century mark? I particularly appreciated their shout-out to their good friend, former La Salle coach Dr. John " GIA-KNOWN ".

I particularly appreciated their shout-out to their good friend, former La Salle coach Dr. John " GIA-KNOWN ". Yeah, that was one of their few flubs. I thought they did a solid job trying to carry the braodcast through a crappy game especially if they were targetting a NY audience. Apparently John Gianone is an MSG Network NY Rangers Reporter. There was John Gianelli, former player for the Knicks that was called the "G Man" by color analyst, Walt Frazier. Then there was John Giannini, who despite alum calls (including me) for his firing, managed to get the Explos to the Sweet Sixteen in 2013. St. Louis on the horizon....

Not if they shoot like that. And defend like that. I think Ash found his rotation.

Couldn't remember the last time La Salle dominated like this, so I went looking since I know how much you guys like hard numbers. Top 12 La Salle Division I victory margins since Fall 2010: 1 | Towson | 12/7/11 | 89-51 | 38 | 2 | Fordham | 1/2/21 | 89-52 | 37 | 3 | Fordham | 2/9/13 | 89-53 | 36 | 4 | Duquesne | 3/2/13 | 97-64 | 33 | 5 | Sacred Heart | 12/22/12 | 100-71 | 29 | 6 | Siena | 12/29/12 | 80-52 | 28 | 7 | Lafayette | 11/11/11 | 79-53 | 26 | 8 | Bucknell | 12/3/11 | 78-52 | 26 | 9 | Central Connecticut State | 12/22/11 | 85-59 | 26 | 10 | Wagner | 12/19/13 | 80-54 | 26 | 11 | Fordham | 3/2/11 | 86-61 | 25 | 12 | Penn State | 12/5/12 | 82-57 | 25 |

When McCormick was reeling off former Explorers names I wish he had included Bobby Fields and Bernie Williams. I'm sure others have some names as well.

i feel bad for the fordham players and coaches with what they've gone through this season. being shut down 3 times for covid is just horrible. hopefully they can get back to being competitive at some point.
loved how the team was relentless from the start. and the way they shared the ball was impressive. how about brickus and gill combining for 15 assists. they only took 5 shots between them and they couldn't have been happier. another poster mentioned this to me but i didn't notice this when i first looked at the box score. only one player (beatty) took double digit shots and there were still five players who scored in double digits and one (moore) who had 9. that is incredibly efficient. also nice to see the seniors bounce back and shoot well.
only thing that was concerning was their inability to defend soriano and eyisi. they combined for 9 offensive rebounds and were 8-10 from the floor. coach ash is going to need to find a way to defend the interior if they want to beat the better teams in the league. i was disappointed he didn't give kimbrough and izay more minutes as they are going to need to contribute defensively the rest of the season.

Not much to add what already has been said but again you can't be more pleased with the unselfish play yesterday. The 24 four assists on 33 made baskets is outstanding. Brickus with 10 assists and only two turnovers.
Hikim with his second consecutive outstanding game after retuning to the lineup. 15pts and 4 assists, Both Hikim and Brickus had 3 steals a piece.
I would have liked to see Izay play more especially against Soriano with a 30 point lead.

So we were in the sweet 16 more recently than we’d won by 25+ until last night? That’s a stat.

Joe Bryant, Randy Woods, Kareem Townes, Paul Burke and Mike Gizzi. Last two are for 88. It was fun to hear Lerner. Imagine him doing a La Salle- St. Joe (PA) game from the Palestra? Probably won't ever happen.

hopefully they can get back to being competitive at some point. When were they ever "competitive" in the A10? They've had 2 overall winning records in 25 years in the league, and only 2 seasons above .500 in league play, including 13 years with under 4 league wins.

Did any one else hear the guys calling the game say something about the A10 distributing money to it's conference schools for being affected by the pandemic ? I'm gonna go back and see if i can find when it was mentioned but i thought i heard something like each school would receive 1 million.
