Thanks for sharing, jellybean. Finding the right leadership was critical. I am going to read more about this guy.
4 guys from my HS grad class are Mounties and all loved the place.

Great article on leadership, as a former US Army officer, it emphasizes the role of a strong leader. My daughter is a Mount grad and the school spirit at the school among undergrads and alumni is apparent as an outside observer. La Salle is so lacking in spirit and is reflected in results in the current trending downwards of the alma mater in enrollment, endowment, and fund raising.

Some of this was sports related (I know of one student in the program I advise with who was an honors program student and water polo player and, with them dropping his sport, made a decision not to re-enroll at La Salle, having never really been on the campus. If that number holds, the school is looking at fewer than 500 full-time students in the class of 2024.

Loved the place. Quite frankly, I have always been closer to my high school. I will leave a lot unsaid here.

From what I read here it looks like this could work for me and I would seriously consider sending my kid to attend.
Strict enforcement of wearing masks and social distancing rules and conscientious testing etc., if I am assured these are in place, by the book, I am willing to assume the risk that remains in order to endeavor to live a life (and want the same op for my kid). The president's messaging here has conveyed that the school is engaged in the necessary effort to control the risk and results are suggesting effectiveness.
