I'm expecting an Explorer win today. Would like to see a starting lineup of Brickus/Gill/Clark/Moore/Spencer. Gill especially because I was impressed with his play against Lincoln. Yeah, it was against Lincoln, but let's get him some extended minutes against a D1 opponent.. Moore is the best big we've got out there, both offensively and defensively. He defends every shot and is very athletic. I expect this team to improve as the season progresses.

I hate that we are at a point in Explorer history where we aren't favored against Drexel. I know times have changed, but in my undergrad days of the early 90s, this game would have been a gimme. AND STAY OFF MY LAWN!

We have fallen behind considerably in the basketball landscape. I never say we can’t fall any farther because we always do.
Ash needs to find a way to make this program better. He is the only one that can make that happen and he needs to do this by himself because he is not going to get help from the administration.
Play the best players more minutes together and stop trying to make 13 players happy.
Demand they play under control and set the expectations.
Lead and motivate his players.
That is all he can do right now and control. This is the team we have. Identify you best players and let them play and grow together. Inspire, motivate, and lead them. It will never work trying to make 13 players happy. Find your core and make them better

I am looking at today as a bit of a litmus test. Expecting us to compete throughout the game. No 2nd half swoon where the other team grossly out executes us. I have bought in to the view that the 2020-2021 team as it is constituted has not had enough time and practice to enable it to significantly gel. For example, guys who were not “here” last year Clark, Brickus and Moore are distinguishing themselves and have slowly emerged as likely first teamers. So far, I am thinking neither Jarrod and Ayinde have remotely found their game. They each seem a bit lost. They can bring much more I think.
