Under 4 timeout and the Hawks are 5-14 from 3pt range and 5-8 from 2pt range. Hanging close for now

Lange is a terrible coach on so many levels. I can’t stand them but they deserve better.

And SLU falls to Minnesota 89-82 in a game that had 50 fouls called in 40 minutes, with 3 SLU starters fouling out. They couldn't buy a 3 tonight going 2-15.

Bryant runs a four guard lineup. Possible recipe for rematch.

Richmond losing to Hofstra today isn't good for the A10. Hofstra will be a solid team but still hurts.
Meanwhile, SJU fans trying to talk themselves off the ledge and I'm here for it. Making excuse after excuse for Lange. Their scheduling was a dumb idea, their roster is fundamentally flawed, their defensive and offensive schemes are one dimensional as a result and their young core just isn't that promising. I don't know how they would expect losing Daly next year will help them but that's where they're at. Things can change but I have very little confidence Lange turns that program around.

I don't know how they would expect losing Daly next year will help them but that's where they're at. Because you're losing a bad teammate who wants to take all the shots.

Its like the inverse Jordan Price debate but with the board now defending a less efficient scorer.

I don't know how they would expect losing Daly next year will help them but that's where they're at. Because you're losing a bad teammate who wants to take all the shots. I don't think he is all that great and he's shooting really poorly. I also think Lange makes it worse the way he runs his offense and it can't be said enough his scheduling was blatantly stupid. Daly aside, the supporting cast doesn't provide a ton of confidence. They have a few good pieces on offense with Funk, Forrest and Bishop. They are also without a PG right now because Foster injured so Hall playing out of position. Most importantly, their defense is flawed from nearly every metric. Maybe some of that is cause of the scheduling but it was a problem last year and it looks worse this year. They are all over the place defensively moving from a 2-3 zone defense, man to man, full court press...there is zero consistency or identity and the opposing team gets open shot after open shot.

I know the NCAA uses NET rankings now instead of RPI, but interesting that the Bonnies RPI is currently #1. Current NET rankings aren't out yet, but here is the RPI heading into conference play for the A10: St. Bonaventure | 1 | Dayton | 18 | St. Louis | 44 | VCU | 45 | Richmond | 82 | Duquesne | 105 | St. Joe's | 113 | Davidson | 127 | Rhode Island | 132 | George Mason | 169 | La Salle | 173 | UMass | 270 | George Washington | 322 | Fordham* | 331 |
*Fordham is tied with 26 other teams yet to play a game.Current RPI of our non A10 opponents: Maryland | 32 | Army | 100 | St. Peter's | 103 | Drexel (W) | 106 | St. John's | 149 | Delaware (W) | 302 |

If you are going to get beat, get beat by better competition. Similar to when I thought about changing my last name to du Pont. I would then be rejected by women of a higher social class.
