My favorite part:
"according to Clark’s teammates, he’s taken his game to another level. Instead of being a straight catch-and-shoot guy, Clark has improved off the dribble and is attacking the basket more instead of settling for 3s. He’s becoming a better all-around player. It could be a breakout season for the redshirt sophomore.
“It’s fun playing with him because you can play pick-and-roll with him and he can also come off of pick-and-rolls,” senior guard David Beatty said. “He’s a good catch-and-shoot player. He’s a very athletic, versatile player. It’s fun being on the court with him knowing he’s always a threat in that sense, and knowing that he’s always going to make the extra pass.”
Need more convincing? Kimbrough has a story for that. This summer, he and Clark finally played in a game together for the first time.
“I had this three-on-three tournament out where I live in New Jersey in early August. It wasn’t anything serious, but I told him to come down and play in it just for fun,” he said. “So he comes down and he’s real nonchalant, real lackadaisical. And the first play of the game, I think someone missed a shot, he comes down and gets a put-back dunk. He grabs it with his left, and while he’s still in midair, puts it in his right hand and dunks it on somebody’s head. I’m an athlete, and I couldn’t even do that.”"

Reading the story really fired me up to watch this team. Fingers crossed for Jack to stay healthy and that we get in a full basketball season.

Read the article- Nice read on 2 6 ft 8 kids, who truly seemed to have bonded with each other- means a lot to be tight off and on the court. i’m starting to get psyched about the kids on this team. Now, can they start to put it together , on the court?

I am interested to see how a core rotation of Ayinde, Spence, Clark, Kimbrough and Moore would fare against some of the more physical teams like UR, SLU, Duq and UD. We can interchange players into that core too so that will be fun to watch.

Think we’re gonna be in a ‘starters don’t play the most minutes’ scenario

Don't like that Holmes combo, as you only have one reliable scorer to start the game.
I'd prefer the first 3 with Clark and Moore in lieu of Ray and Kimbrough
Unit 1A Ayinde, Beatty, Spencer, Clark, Moore to grab an early lead and then go
Unit 1B Ayinde, Kenney, Spencer, Ray, Kimbrough to amp up the D pressure and score in transition/off turnovers

Spencer. Having Clark in that starting lineup spreads the floor more and opens the inside for Beatty to score. In effect, 2 gets you 3.

Hope you all are doing well and ready for the season!
I wouldn't be too concerned with the starting line up. It honestly probably makes more sense to start with some continuity from the prior season. Every team didn't get much time to practice. I would imagine IF this actually is the starting line up tomorrow it changes throughout the season if Clark, Moore or whomever really step up.
