I resent that the guy in the middle who they’re playing keepaway from appears to be on the Knicks Actually, the man in the middle looks like 71er Fastchuck in his intramural days. Maybe Rapid Charles was slightly quicker.

Was wondering how this would affect the Caymen Island Classic that was supposed to start the 23rd, but I read on ESPN that they don't have guidance issued yet around pre-season tournaments that would have been set for dates prior to the 25th.

new guidelines allow a max of 27 out-of-conference games. If the schedule of pairing the A10 set in July stands, that leaves La Salle with 9 OOC games to play. I'm not sure if the Caymen games count toward that 27 total or not. So....who are our 9? Obviously Villanova and Temple. Penn hopefully although all sports are cancelled there until Jan 1. That leaves 6 or 7 to fill.

No real thread for this, so I'll put it here. Richmond lost one of their top returning players to an ACL tear

Sorry but I'm going to give GlitterBro another shout out for finding www.threemanweave.com. Good statistical stuff. I love the Ash uses the full court press. Stats say we are in top 40 in using the press and are pretty effective in creating turnovers. The fact that Kimbrough was so effective is great and we are adding two more big guys for the frontcourt in Izay and Moore. Gill is a defensive pest and Brickus is a really quick. Added improvement from the returning cast is all good. I also found that site interesting discussing Ash and Lang from the Jay Wright tree. Both Ash and Lang want to implement that four three point shooters on the floor. The two coaches are a little different in style though. Lang seems to want really fast tempo while Ash is play with a little more control but hang your hat on defense. I expect a huge improvement on defense for all the reasons I mentioned in previous paragraph. My big area of concern is that fourth 3pt shooter after Beatty, Spencer and Clark. We lose Deas and Phiri (87-256 .339) but gain Clark (41%). Who will be that fourth shooter from the returning players? Let's look at their stats. Kenney was 24-90 .267 Hikim was 5-19 .263 Ray was 9-35 .257 Stone was 8-33 .242 Not impressive numbers but as they say "plenty of room for improvement." I think the player who steps up is Kenney. He had a bit of an under-performing FR season and I think he will come into this season trying to prove last season was not what he can be. Plus he's the most likely to not be reluctant to fire off shots. I also think the competition will stoke him. Also I would like to see Spencer get more 3pt attempts. Feed your best shooter. Love Beatty with 150 attempts but i don't think he should lead the team in 3pt attempts even though he showed great improvement from mid 20% to 33% last season. I would like to see Spencer and Clark lead the team with maybe 5 3pt per game.

Does anybody on this board know if there will be fans permitted at home games? Will it be limited to students? My assumption is with current restrictions it can't be more than 1,000 fans and that would include players, staffs, cheerleaders and officials.

We don’t know yet... but season ticket holders got an email on Oct 29th asking to take a survey about their likelihood of attending games. Seems like La Salle will give it a try if the survey and public health data supports it.

“Inside the L” is a terrible name for a sports podcast, in my opinion.
