I don’t see Jared starting over Clark.
If we get some chemistry going and Ash can settle his rotations early, I could see us finishing 7-9th. If we catch some breaks, a little higher.

If the A10 implements a more regional scheduling practice like some conferences are doing, it is conceivable we don't play St. Louis, Dayton, St. Bonaventure, Davidson, and UMass. This could shuffle the final standings quite a bit.

That’s , without a doubt, the highest praise of Moore, I have yet to see.Other reports have him as a contributor, but not a main cog. Hope Rothstein is right.( he’s usually ,pretty well tuned in)

12th place is a puzzling take for me. We do have a lot of depth and hopefully in his 3rd season Ash begins to have real role and program definition with his players. I do expect Hikim to take a large step next year and that could be so beneficial to us taking a large step as a program. If Moore can guard the post and help us limit easy baskets we really could surprise. Add Clark, who if healthy could lead the team in scoring which would be a major boost. A lot of if's there but I do think 2 of those things are going to happen next season.
It seems lazy to just put La Salle as the team of the group (UMass, Mason, GW, VCU, Rhoday, and La Salle) that could surprise in the conference next year not pan out. If you dig in there a bit we could take a decent step forward next year. Much better than 12th.

Only Rothstein could give you the skinny on Fatts (Russell).

after the top 2, i think la salle matches up very well with everyone else. slu and richmond should be a tier above the rest of the league. both will both be very, very good.
#3 - dayton will be good but maybe not as good as people think. losing toppin, landers, and mikesell will really hurt. #4 - i don't get sbu here unless the jucos they signed are studs. i guess the rating is mainly due to schmidt. #5 - dukes will be good again, but they aren't that good. la salle almost beat them there and didn't even play well. #6 - no way uri belongs here unless 2 or more of the transfers get waivers. if none of them do, they'll be average. #7 - davidson doesn't scare me. probably rated here because of mckillop. #8 - umass has mitchell who's a stud, but once again, tons of roster turnover. #9 - george mason, meh. still don't know how la salle lost to them at gola. #10 - vcu lost a ton, but they have the best recruiting class in the league. the kid from trenton catholic is a stud. #11 - there is absolutely no way gw will be better than la salle. rothstein really lost his mind on that pick. #12 - hopefully this is motivation. i'm prejudiced, but if la salle plays to their potential, they should finish much higher.
#13 - in billy they trust. they'll be better but not by a whole lot imo. #14 - still not enough a10-level talent at fordham.

This is where La Salle belong...Next season will be tough because 6 schools in the A10 schedule better and has more continuity as a starting 5...Ash will shuffle lineups maybe 15 times as always.. then dealing with new coaches on his staff....along with who will really be your go to guy and who will be the floor general and who will be the senior to sit...I think Jack will have to much on his back especially after bulking up with injured legs as for Cliff SUPER ATHLETIC will help with screen and roll plays defensively but not a threat offensively unless they run lob city plays for him aka Obi Toppin...so IMO 12th is right for now unless Ash sticks with a starting 5 and make a solid bench consistently regularly then they can move up to 7-8...This is where the big programs succeed due to this Pandemic by having the big time resources...We have to think about when any player gets sick from this virus changes the game on how fast they can come back?

then dealing with new coaches on his staff....and who will be the senior to sit... so you're saying there will be more than one new coach on the staff? as far as seniors sitting under coach ash: post-grads moustapha and cheddi didn't play much due to health issues pookie averaged 32 mpg as a senior saul and isiah averaged 27 and 22 mpg as seniors on a team that had 10 players average double figure minutes

I agree with you that we could jump any of URI, the Dukes, Mason, GW and VCU. If we outperformed all, we get to 7 but we probably won't top all so maybe 8 or 9. That's how I get to 7-9. If Clark is full strength, can shoot effectively and play 25 minutes and Moore is as good as Jon advertises, we could outperform two well coached teams with talent, SBU and DC, but I think getting to 5 is a stretch unless we start strong with good chemistry and get rolling early. Having Clark and Spencer nail 3s and Beatty focus on shooting 50% in mid-range crevices and pull-up shots, could make this a possibility, but we have to start the year strong and each A10 game strong. NOT continually experimenting with lineups will help.
