Ivy League canceling all sports until January 1 means La Salle has lost a non-conference game in Penn That's speculative. You only would have to go back to the 2016-17 season to the last time La Salle played Penn in January. There is also quite a good possibility the AD's and Presidents would rearrange dates to accommodate the Big 5 games, that is if a season still happens I mean. It's going to be much less difficult to reschedule Penn-La Salle than figure out logistics with the Cayman Classic.

AAC has announced their COVID-19 provisions for conference only football with regular testing. It is a conference that requires many sports teams to fly commercial, so I'm interested to see their soccer plan.
I saw that La Salle's current plan is to allow bus trips only and no overnight games, reserving the right to postpone, or outright cancel games that involve hotspot sites or teams coming from hotspot sites. Not sure how long that can last. Seems like a coin flip as of now whether 3 months from now the US will be experiencing much higher cases or dwindling cases.

Are the Cayman Islands a bigger hot spot than Florida? Or is the U.S. banned from the Caymans as well? And why would they hold the tournament in a hot spot like Florida? Why not where it's safer like Madison Square Garden or Mohegan Sun Casino? Both are located in states that are under control (at least for now).

According to their tourism website, their airports are still all closed. However, they did just allow karaoke to resume this month. Yeah...I wondered too about Florida...why there?

These tournaments are a joke anyway, virtually empty buildings. Ain't probably happening, breakout the cardboard cutouts for fans. Games is becoming too much about the players, not the students or fans. Vacation tournaments, get rid of them. Only place you can get the big guys to entertain the thought of playing you.

florida is a big state. not all of it is spiking. niceville is on the panhandle and as of now, that area between pensacola and tallahassee seems to have pretty low occurrence and fatality rates compared to central and south florida. if they end up playing this tournament at all, the promoters could have done a lot worse finding a suitable place to move it to.

Yeah, but the ACTUAL bracket has been released which includes two teams from the 2013 Sweet Sixteen in our direct path. A bit absurd there’s been no mention of playing Ole Miss first round.

Maybe we’re being realists that there is probably not going to be a season.
