Drew 20 fouls. Indicative of the aggressiveness the team displayed today. Crashed the boards effectively. JK-0 Turnovers as well, in 34 minutes. Very solid play from him today.

Saint Osun with a killer 11 and 5. 4 of those were long after the outcome was apparent. Got in foul trouble early, had a stretch in the 2nd half where LS had no answer for him and they got back under 10 points. Best part of today was not complete collapse when they had the lead. Disappointing part was the 3 or 4 turnovers driving to the basket after getting critical stops.

Total team effort yesterday. Congrats to the team and staff. Jared had a superb day as has been mentioned. I thought Richie P made an excellent comment about Jared's footwork playing the high screen. Ed always seemed to get caught in the switch with a smaller guard. Yesterday Jared held his ground and stayed with OO. Not saying Ed wasn't missed but Jared's defense was huge. C. Ray was a monster on the defensive end and the boards. Great all around game. Hikim brought energy to the team. Shaggy and Saul had great all around Seniors days. Kenney and Beatty were solid. I was somewhat concerned about Stone. I am not sure if he was sick but he twice asked to come up of the game. Stamina seems to be an issue. From behind enemy lines department. Bonnie board is one of the worst towards La Salle. Anytime we can defeat them it's a great day. Glad to see Bonnie Nation quietly go home yesterday. I thought that Ashley had the team play hard and with passion the whole game. Can't say that about Bonnie's. There were a couple of sequences where Bonnie players looked disinterested and didn't exert any effort on offensive rebounds or 50-50 balls. Here is a link to their game thread. I loved the posts where they were upset with the "Philly refs." Kale got under the skin of some of them too. Those dopes have no clue how the games are handled on ESPN+ or how referees are assigned in college basketball. bonabandwagon.proboards.com/thread/17027/la-salle

Thanks for the link to the st bona board. love beating them after the hose job in olean last year. they should have brought their timekeeper with them.

Opponents make their run, but the team is able to withstand it. No stall ball. The problem has been getting a lead.

And we didn't need the help of a clock shaving incident to pull it off either. Did they ever fine/fire the douchebag that did that to us last year in Oleans?
