Population of Philadelphia would likely make this a net positive for us.

For better or worse, that remains to be seen. People will complain that kids jump around but they shouldn't. Coaches jump around and nobody complains about that. This is a good decision and will result in more kids getting into better situations. The caveat here is that when a freshman makes a splash at a mid-major and then ends up at KY as a sophomore here. In those scenarios, the NCAA should really police contact not with just the kid but also their handlers.

Nah, just open it up. If a kid has a chance to go from the A-10 to Kentucky, wish him well and bring in a lower programs best player.

What would Blake Francis have at Ky versus UR? No one knows but the change likely benefits a PSU over a La Salle long term. If it had not been the case the P5ers wouldn't have gotten it OK'd

If a coach under contract can leave without sitting out a year than it just seems unfair to force an athlete to sit out a year. The NCAA believes a signed letter of intent is binding, a signed contract not so much.

Sestina wasn't able to play at Bucknell. Ivy and Patriot Leagues don't allow graduate students to play, even if they are at the same school. There is a kid from an Ivy graduating this year that has a year left and everyone is going to pursue him because he cannot play next year at his current Ivy school.

Glitter, don't get me started on Truck Butts or the 1969 team sanctions (and their alleged enforcement bases).
