* * * * * * * * * * * The exception may be Croswell who has really developed from the beginning of his 1st year. Fastchuck : You mean Ed Hightower don't you ? Takeaways : That is hilarious. And sad that it went to print like that.

some notes from the game that are encouraging: Spencer was the 6th different player to lead the team in scoring. 6 guys are averaging 8+ppg Saul hasn't even been the leading scorer yet. Having an attack that balanced makes defending really tough. I think Wednesday was the best ball movement I've seen in years. There was one possession in particular where it seemed like we made the extra pass 4 times and it ended with a made corner 3. Overall, it's very encouraging that there is trust throughout the roster and it can be anyone's night on any day.
Let's get FDU.

Don't understand the "Jordan Price Ball" comment. I take him 10/10 times over the current seniors we have.

Don't understand the "Jordan Price Ball" comment. I take him 10/10 times over the current seniors we have. I'd take his scoring ability, but he can keep the top of the key three pointer with 26 seconds left on the shot clock at 13 minutes left in the first half. Hated that part.

I blame more (previous) Coach than player 😉

You cant win games with Jordan Price and the way he played the game. I said that very early and we never did win games in his La Salle career and the board went nuts when I posted that. Whether G told him to play that way or whether Price did it on his own it didn't matter. It was a recipe for disaster.

You’re ignoring every other factor. Take your half dozen favorite players from this roster and put them on the 2015-16 team and either they’re taking the same number of (often bad) shots or those teams are even worse. Good players can’t make bad rosters work.
(Also, everyone keep praising Daly for inefficient scoring for a terrible team. It’s totally different there.)

2015-2016 was a bad roster. We somehow beat #25 Dayton that year, and lost to GW by 40.

((It should also be noted that none of this is a critique of Daly, just the perception of him relative to very similar offensive players we’ve had.))

I think Clemson messed up badly.. Spencer is going to be a good one for us..
Love the stroke...
Saul is playing within himself and is having his best year yet... Maybe it is a Senior thing that happens with players when they become the leader/captains of the group..

Maybe it is a Senior thing that happens with players when they become the leader/captains of the group.. Agree on both counts. Spencer has an incredibly quick release on his shot as well.

Deas does it too much as well and doesn't have the scoring ability he has. Also, the roster and coaching played a significant part in the way he had to play. Not worried about it though. Nothing to harp on.
